Welcome to your Treasure Island oasis, the Jolly Roger! This delightful 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom beach house offers the perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm. Just a 2-minute stroll from the sandy shores, you can spend your days soaking up the sun and your evenings listening to the calming rhythm of the waves. Being that it is on the 2nd row, the Jolly Roger boasts stunning ocean views making it the ideal spot for a relaxing family getaway or a fun-filled friends` trip.

● WINTER TEXAN RATE: Escape to the Texas Gulf Coast this winter! Ask about our reduced monthly rates October 1 - March 1.

● Location: Treasure Island beach community of Surfside, Texas

● Beach Access: The home is located just up the street from the Treasure Island beach access point, a two minute walk or 30 second car ride. Plus there’s excellent fishing at San Luis Pass just a minute drive away!

● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

● Pet Policy: 3 pets are allowed with a $25 fee per pet. Please keep pets off furniture, clean up after them outside, and crate them if left alone indoors.

● Parking: There is room for 4 cars in the driveway.

Step inside and be greeted by the open-concept living area, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. The spacious kitchen allows for easy meal prep, while the comfortable living room beckons you to gather around the big-screen TV for movie nights.

Down the hallway, you`ll find three bedrooms, each offering a comfortable sleeping arrangement. One room features a luxurious king-size bed, perfect for couples seeking a restful retreat. Another room boasts a queen-size bed and a twin bunk bed set, ideal for families with younger children. The third bedroom offers a queen-size bed and a full-over-full bunk bed set, accommodating additional guests with ease.

Looking for a bit more privacy? Head downstairs to the fourth bedroom, featuring a full-over-full bunk bed set and an additional bathroom.

We are unable to price match any rates found on other booking platforms.

House Rules:
- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 12 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

The picture needs updated. The one picture makes it appear while sitting on balcony looking at ocean to the right is open however there is a house that has been built and no longer a view of ocean.

The only issue we had was only one bathroom had hot water ,the valve in the hall bath probably needed to be adjusted .,other than that it was a good stay

We had a nice stay and found all the kitchen stuff we needed. Beds were comfortable and the house is quite close to a beach entry. The outside shower was only running hot water but there’s a hose near the BBQ that helped. The management responded quickly to ants getting into the downstairs bedroom. As with all beach houses there are stairs so be prepared.

A stones throw away from Dolphins in the gulf?

Quaint beach house in quiet neighborhood - with view of the ocean, loved the deck and beach chairs, we had morning views of a family of dolphins while we drank our coffee which was a great bonus - beach access is a walkable distance. Pro tip- Bring a wind resistant lighter if you want to use the charcoal grill! Plan ahead bring groceries, the closest stores are fairly expensive and not so close. Beds were comfy, plenty of amenities as listed, communication was fast and kind. Family had a good time, memories were made, would stay again.

We found a lot of discrepancies on this beach house listed under Vrbo-Expedia. It indicated 4 bedrooms / 3 baths to accommodate up to 17 people on 1055 sd ft. The house only had 3 very small rooms and 2 baths NO hot water. Not very clean. The rug, the pillows and sofas on the leaving room were gross, we did not even seat on it. one bedroom had a queen bed and a bunk queen beds. The reservation was for 14 people, but some rented a hotel room in Galveston instead. II called the owner to fix the hot water, the problems was not resolved. The bathroom in the middle door knob was not working, many of us got locked up inside, very dangerous in case of an emergency or a child. I apologize to the owners for this honest review, but I think Vrbo-Expedia need to take some action on this listing.

The ac was not working and it was too hot to even go in the house, it took about 1/12 hours for the technician to come and fix the problem Mean while we had to wait outside in the heat unable to bring our luggage in not sure it would get fixed , we expect to be reimbursed at the rate you charge for early check in since our check in was delayed 11/2 hours Other than that the house was nice and very accommodating

This was by far the most disappointing vacation rental experience we’ve ever had. The property looked nothing like the photos listed online. It appears to have gone years without proper maintenance, there was siding completely missing from the front of the house, visible mold in bathrooms, a large burn on kitchen countertops, the furniture in the kitchen and living room was filthy, the rug had stains all the way around, disgusting.One of the biggest issues was the misleading description of the location of the 4th bedroom and 3rd bathroom. I asked if the 4th bedroom was accessible from inside the main house, or if it required going outside and downstairs to a separate entrance. . I was clearly told it was inside the main house. This was not true. It is a separate space. Which was completely unsuitable for our family set up. We booked 8 nights for a family trip with our adult children and grandchildren. After arriving late in the day, we were shocked at the condition of the home and unsure as to what to do. We contacted Beachbox who offered to send someone to clean, but this was far beyond a simple cleaning issue, it was a matter of overall condition and maintenance, on top of the lie about the 4th bedroom. Not knowing what to do, we stayed one night, with no sleep before finding a different home to move to the next day with no assistance from Beachbox.I would strongly advise others to avoid this property and company.

The location is amazing but we were disappointed to find the property in disrepair. The property manager also asked us to email them outside of the VRBO platform which I refused to do. Some of the items we took pictures of and communicated were:1. Disgusting trash left outside of the property by the previous renters that kept us from using the fire pit, which was the main reason we selected the property.2. General filth: door frames, walls, showers, vents, etc. were grimy or moldy. There were things like false eyelashes stuck on picture frames in the bedroom. We ended up cleaning the property ourselves and it was cleaner when we checked out than when we arrived.3. Busted bathroom vanities, cracked tile and missing grout. The kitchen and bathroom cabinets also smelled terrible when we opened them.4. The kitchen faucet and hand-held nozzle leaked and the kitchen counter was burned/cracked. 5. A window that had just been boarded up because the front door spring was broken and kept slamming into the window. 6. Most importantly, the door to the downstairs bedroom that was accessible from the outside did not latch. Anyone can just push the door open even if it's locked/dead-bolted.Since we can't upload videos to reviews it's hard to show things like the broken door. The host did offer to send someone to fix the door while we were out of the house but I didn't want someone on the property without us there. They didn't offer a time or another solution.
