My wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary weekend. The cabin was perfect. Morning coffee overlooking the river, relaxing in the hot tub, played many games of pool with each other, an evening aroung the fire pit, and movie night in the screened in deck. I highly recommend this cabin for a romantic or family getaway.

Absolutely love the place, the layout, the river, and so many places to relax and read.

Absolutely love the place, the layout, the river, and so many places to relax and read. Such a comfortable roomy place to stay, especially for dogs. Lots of birds to watch, dogs swimming, great exercise to walk down to the gate and back (1.5 miles) Emails were professional and friendly, they also called us to make sure we were comfortable and if we needed anything.

The property was amazing! Very clean and well-maintained. The covered porch and hot tub area are both great! Right on the river! They were great! Very helpful and responsive. We actually added a night to our stay after we booked and they made the entire process extremely easy.

What I liked about the property was the location.

What I liked about the property was the location. There is a gravel road, but not too long and it’s fairly close to the main highway making it convenient. I was able to sleep with the bedroom windows open and listen to the Rushing water in the river. Blue Sky's booking and rental process is very streamlined and easy. I did everything through the website and anyone that I did talk to at Blue Sky was the most receptive and helpful.

We moved from Riverside Escape to Hemlock Creek on Thursday.

We moved from Riverside Escape to Hemlock Creek on Thursday. We went to use some more of our hamburger buns when at the second cabin and noticed that apparently a mouse had gotten ahold of our hamburger buns at Riverside Escape...noticed a hole in the bag and part of the bun eaten with some droppings on the rest of the buns. Interestingly, that was the only thing that was eaten. Weird, for sure, but it's nature and life, but troubling nonetheless. The initial reservation process was a bit clunky. I did not receive the automated e-mails. Perhaps adding a place to include the driver's license during the registration process would simplify getting that over to you during check in.
