Rainbow Riverside Farmhouse is a breathtaking cabin offering a wonderful feeling of seclusion and privacy along scenic Mountaintown Creek in the private Coosawattee River Resort. Watch as the geese glide into land, browse at the herd of deer grazing in the meadow next door, catch a glimpse of the giant Blue Heron who often visits this tranquil valley. Cool off with a swim in the river. Bring a tube and walk up stream and float your stress away. Experience magic.

The Space
Enjoy all this from a newly remodeled five-star cabin that includes details such as professional hair care products, luxurious bedding and towels, a fully stocked gourmet kitchen, a game room with Air Hockey and Foosball, a movie room with a 75" Smart TV/Sound Bar/DVD/Blu-ray player, two fireplaces(one firepit) to choose from, a wide assortment of board games, poker set, cards, a luxury Bull Frog Hot Tub with lounge seat, 2 king masters with balconies overlooking the river. You simply will not find a nicer cabin in a more idyllic setting.

Guest Access
You will enjoy access to the entire home and nearly 1,000 feet of private riverfront as we own two additional lots and three adjacent homes.

Other things to note
Note that our base rate is for 4 people and that the rate increases $15 per night per each additional Guest up to 8 total Guests or an additional $60 per night. This allows us to offer a more reasonable rate for smaller parties.

PETS- While we do allow a pet, we only allow one dog that is 50 pounds or less and at least 2 years old. We require a Vet Health Certificate confirming the dog's age, weight, and that its vaccinations are current along with a photo of the dog. Note that there is a pet fee of $35/night with a $70 minimum charge per stay.

Please note, while access to the cabin is generally easy(we drive a Hyundai Sonota Hybrid), the last ~1/3 of a mile is on a community maintained gravel road. Parking for up to 3 cars is off-street and there are no stairs to enter the cabin.

Finally, note that our air conditioning and heating system is set to allow for a minimum temperature setting of 72 degrees and maximum temperature of 76 degrees.. Experience has taught us that these temperatures are very comfortable for most Guests and is an important part of our energy conservation program. In the event that a Guest desires a lower or higher setting, we are happy to accommodate this need allowing a setting as low as 68 or 80 degrees for a surcharge of $10/night.

We will be available to help at any time during your stay. We have lived in the area for years and are happy to help in any way we can. From restaurants to activities, our Welcome Book which will be provided covers many details of the area.

Coosawattee River Resort is a gated community that consists of over 5,500 acres. Amenities offered within the community include parks, tennis courts, a rec center with an indoor pool, and more. Note that all these amenities are now included with our $60 Resort Fee for up to 8 adults and unlimited kids! Two Guest Cards are provided at the cabin with each card admitting up to 4 adults to any of the facilities. Any kids must always be accompanied by adults. Please note that Guests are responsible for making certain the cards are returned to the cabin at the end of their stay. Any lost or missing cards will result in a $25 replacement fee.
