Awesome vacation rental!

We had a wonderful experience at this vacation rental! The condo was nicely updated and was very clean! The kitchen was well equipped and the condo had everything we needed! The property was in a great location in town! The property was well maintained and had a wonderful pool! The access to the beach was fabulous!!! We will stay here again! It was fantastic!

Our sincerest apologies, so sorry you were locked out. Apologies as well on the length of time it took to get you back into the home. When you do the final check out and need to re-enter it can cause some issues. Our emergency phone is always available for instances before or after hours . Calming and comfortable

We had a great long weekend at Parker Place. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the large balcony with a pool view. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were all well maintained and in great shape. The beds were convenient and comfortable. The Murphy bed in the living room was very convenient and we ended up just leaving it out as a day bed for the kids to lounge on. The bathrooms were nicely updated and were very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Spring Break

Beautiful condo, well stocked and very clean. The Murphy bed/day bed combo was the biggest reason we picked this condo. It was perfect to not have the bunk bed option that other condos in the building have. Was very pleased with how large the closet and bathroom space was in the bedroom. Hall bathroom was great, I do wish there was a storage unit of some kind in there under the towel hooks for clothes for the guest that use the Murphy bed or day bed. There is storage under the day bed so that’s nice. The pool is fantastic and beautiful. There is little beach during high tide so just make sure you plan for that. Overall we had a wonderful stay

Vacation

Nice unit the complex is on the beach. Our unit was in one of the farther back buildings. Walked to beach everyday. Floor could use updating. Disappointed we didn’t have access to the fitness center onsite and could not access ground level storage to store our beach equipment. Only 1 key card issued so doing laundry while another family member used pool was a bit of a challenge because same card unlocks laundry and pool. Both Tvs were not connected to internet maintenance came next day to fix. Also you have to use complex WiFi which is slow. Some other units had their own WiFi and password exclusively. Overalll a nice stay but it was the little things that made us decide to book a different unit if we go back

Mostly awesome.

The condo itself is awesome. Clean, beautiful, and great location! The community however...there are soooo many rules. You can’t walk on the grass, like don’t even step in it to let someone pass without someone yelling at you from their balcony. Kids are not allowed pool toys; floats or ball...only noodles and spray toys are allowed... You know the kind where kids slap at the water loudly or spray others with continuously... makes no sense. We were on the middle floor and we are confident elephants were above us. Elephants that like to roam between midnight and 2am every night. My poor daughter couldn’t sleep in the bunk beds because the 3rd level stairs are right above and the elephants roamed all night; literally sounding like they were walking on her face. Lastly, laundry room; so bad-just don’t. But, at the end of the day, if you know the rules and bring ear plugs in case elephants invade, you will be golden. The condo itself is great and life at the beach rocks!!!

Surf Condos does offer the best of both worlds with a pool and oceanfront beach access, at an affordable price. That being said, if you seek a bit more quiet, please let us help you find a duplex or single family home for your next visit to Topsail Island, where elephants are more of an endangered species.

Nice Condo, Noisy Neighbors

Our Condo stay was mostly wonderful. Nice beach, nice view. My only 2 issues were there were a few dog hairs we noticed. The apartment was vacuumed, but they just missed a few spots. Secondly, the upstairs neighbors children were very loud. They sounded like a stampede of horses and kept going at times till 11 PM or as early as 6:30 AM. I understand the nature of the Condos being close to one another, but the noises woke me up and made it hard to get to sleep. The beach was top notch however.

Just Right

This unit was just right for my husband and myself. We would definitely come back and stay again. It is the perfect distance to walk to the pier, downtown, and eateries. We used to own a unit in the Surf so we were familiar with the property. Beautiful unit. The only thing we would have like more of would be cereal bowls and 1 qt. oven- proof dishes. Thanks again for a great stay.

Had a nice stay, even though….

We stayed here Aug7-14, 2021. Location is nice. Very close to the bridge for easy access to shops and stores. The original listing showed a bunk bed in the ‘hallway’ which is one reason why i picked this unit, but then after booking it showed the daybed that was actually there. Not a big deal, but we really would have liked the extra bed. Speaking of beds, they were extremely uncomfortable. I’m sure it’s just a preference thing, as the beds were all super soft and were rough on all our backs. We just prefer firmer mattresses. The place itself is very spacious. 5 adults and 1 child had plenty of room to schlep around without overcrowding one another. Bathrooms were big, roomy, and clean. We brought our own linens, but everything that was there was also clean and orderly. I usually bring my favorite pot and pan because previous experiences have left us with an a kitchen full of cheapie cookware that ruined dinner more than cooking it, but I forgot mine this go-round. Which was ok since the cookware in this unit was of great quality. Porch was nice and we had a great view of the pool. The pool hours in my opinion should be extended. It closes at 8, and they are very strict. We would have loved to been able to swim for a bit with the awesome lights that are on in the pool. The units don’t have elevators, but access to them was quick and easy and not an inconvenience at all. Very easy to use key pad on the door, and we felt at ease while we were away for the day. No in-unit laundry, but there is a big laundry room across the parking lot. Fairly priced and plenty of machines. The walk to the beach is short, and there are plenty of walkways that lead right to the deck. The benches are a nice touch and gave us a perfect place to sit and watch the meteor shower. We did bring a football to play with, and wanted to take advantage of the nicely manicured lawn, but quickly got yelled at and told to get off! Bummer. We also had a knock at our door and got yelled at for hanging a towel over the porch banister. There is a line to hang them on, but we needed a little more room for a few. I like to stay at different places on the island. If I do come back to this complex however, I will for sure get a top floor unit. The family that stayed directly above us was absolutely horrible!! Sounded like they were bowling all night and they were all so heavy-footed! The constant stomping and loud bangs kept us up late and woke us up early! All in all we enjoyed our stay!
