The space
Welcome to Starlite Casita, your exclusive desert retreat nestled under a giant Joshua Tree on a 2.5-acre parcel in Yucca Mesa. As you enter through the welcoming gates of our property, you'll be enveloped in complete privacy, with a fully fenced-in, dog-friendly, and self-enclosed retreat awaiting your arrival.

Inside, you'll discover two inviting bedrooms, each offering its unique charm. Choose between the California King Bed upstairs, boasting breathtaking views and a dedicated workspace, or the cozy Queen Bed downstairs, with its own sliding door to the backyard. With additional sleeping options including couches on each level and an inflatable queen bed, there's ample space to accommodate up to six guests comfortably.

Our casita is thoughtfully equipped with top-notch amenities to ensure a memorable stay. From mini-splits in each room to keep you comfortable in any season, to a fully stocked kitchen complete and outdoor BBQ for culinary adventures, we have everything you need to feel right at home. Plus, with board games, book collections, a record player, sound system, and two Google TVs with complimentary access to all the top streaming apps, entertainment is always at your fingertips.

Step outside and discover your private oasis, featuring a hot tub for ultimate relaxation, a firepit for cozy evenings and s’mores under the stars, a Chippo golf set for a bit of outdoor fun. For stargazers, a telescope and star guides will allow you to take in the best views of the desert: our world-renowned light-pollution-free night skies. For added convenience, we offer amenities such as free EV charging, Starlink high-speed internet, exercise equipment, portable fans, and room-darkening blinds, ensuring comfort throughout your stay. Guest access
Guests will have full access to the casita interior, casita backyard, and the perimeter of the full property between the chain link fences and wooden fences (see property map in the house manual provided on check-in day).

The casita and main house are completely separate structures so you’ll have total privacy. Most weekends I'm out of town, but sometimes work remote from the main house on weekdays and will let you know if our trips coincide (we won’t see each other unless you’d like to say hello or need help with anything :) A locally-based property manager will always be always available 24/7 for any questions or urgent needs.

For your safety, the rest of the property currently off-limits while it's being developed. Check out the rendering printouts on the clipboard in the casita living room for a sneak peek of the full Starlite Resort property with pool, pickleball, and 5 bedrooms / 3 baths coming in 2025! (No construction will take place during guest stays).
Other things to note
For guests with EVs, free Level 2 charging is available outside of the hours of 4pm-9pm. Simply park your car in front of the garage, plug in your car (Standard EV or Tesla; use the button for standard plug and pull handle for Tesla), and recharge your vehicle with the clean and abundant power of the sun (which is also Starlite power, scientifically speaking : )

Although we are pet friendly, We allow only dogs, for a maximum of 2, no other animals are allowed for $100 per dog fee. Sorry for any inconvenience we are not able to host any other type of animal.
