"Hydrangea House" est une maison de 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain Ă  aire ouverte sur 2 Âœ acres privĂ©s avec une grande cour. La maison est au centre de tout ce que le comtĂ© offre. Vous ne pouvez pas obtenir un meilleur emplacement que celui-ci! Roulez 4 miles jusqu'Ă  Good Harbor Beach sur le lac Michigan, Ă  15 minutes du centre-ville de Leland / Fishtown, de Glen Arbour ou du village de Lake Leelanau, Ă  22 minutes de Suttons Bay, Ă  25 minutes de Sleeping Bear Dune Climb et Ă  30 minutes de Traverse City! Tout l'espace de vie intĂ©rieur a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement mis Ă  jour et tous les meubles sont neufs. Nouvelle cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec Ăźlot en granit et appareils en ardoise. Le pont enveloppant vous invite au barbecue et profitez de la cour naturelle. Great stay in the woods

We had a great 3-week stay! The property is really well equipped - from beach chairs and umbrellas to kitchen gadgets and baking pans to a hammock and garage full of games, the hosts have really thought have everything. While the property is a bit isolated, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the woods and space for our kiddos to run around.

Great Place in the Woods

We visited in the fall to bike and e-bike on the nearby trails. This quaint place was perfect for the four of us, with all the needed amenities. The trails and wineries were conveniently close by. Communication with the owner was excellent; they promptly answered all our questions about the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Great House!

This was the perfect house for our family for the week! The location is perfect - just a short drive to Good Harbor Bay, or into Glen Arbor, or Sleeping Bear Dunes. The kids played a ton of badminton whenever we were hanging around the house, or played air hockey in the garage..The garage also had plenty of beach chairs, etc, so we didn't even need to pack our own, which saved a ton of space in the car. And this was probably the cleanest rental house we've ever been to (and I've rented a lot of houses, especially in Michigan). Thank you, Erin, for a great week!

Relaxation Retreat!!

From booking this lovely retreat to closing the door to go home....everything was smooth and easy! We had a wonderful weekend! This home is cozy, clean and extremely well equipped with everything you could want from a vacation rental and more! Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Three couples on a golf and wine tasting weekend, so close to everything very centrally located. Erin the owner was a SUPER HOST and was so helpful with tips to get around as this was a Triathlon Weekend but we never even noticed the race. A fabulous golf course just minutes from the home along with shopping and wonderful restaurants was enjoyed by all. Hospitality PLUS! The fire pit, basketball hoop, and Foosball table was a pleasant surprise! All in all 10 stars!!! Thank you for a wonderful time!!

Lovely

If you have ever dreamed of living in an Ikea showroom, this is your house! Adorable, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Spent 4 nights here with our college-aged kids. The house is in the woods with a short drive to civilization (haha) -- very close to Pyramid Point which is a perfect spot for family photos : )

Great Stay Up North

The Hydrangea House met out our families expectations and more. The house was clean, updated, and well furnished for our week long stay. It was a great home base centrally located for all of our Up North adventures. The owner gave us plenty of helpful recommendations for dining, shopping, and much more. Whether rafting on the Platte, hitting beaches along Lake Michigan, wine tasting or day tripping to Traverse City on a rainy day, we were just a short drive away. Can't miss with this one!

Absolutely great.

This was a beautiful home/property. It had everything you could want. On top of everything being brand new, the owners provided an expansive list of things to do and places to go, including restaurants and beaches in the area. This was extremely helpful and made our stay much better. The garage was also full of games/activities. Great for kids. This place couldn't be better.

Cute, quiet and centrally located

We stayed at the Hydrangea House for a wine-trip weekend. The house is down a very quiet road and surrounded by tons of trees and nature and centrally located for all our destinations. Our timing was perfect as the colors of the trees were really popping this time of year. The house was absolutely spotless and everything we could possibly need was already on hand. The owner was very communicative and we really had no questions or issues during our stay. I'm hoping we can make another trip back again next year.

Beautiful location; beautiful property!

We have rented many vacation homes over the years, and this property is one of the best we've visited. The house and property are beautiful, tastefully decorated and well-appointed—the homeowners have thought of everything you could possibly need. And it is so very CLEAN!!! The location is perfect—close to everything you would want to see and do while up north. The homeowners were easy to contact, responded quickly to any and all questions, and were very proactive about any issues. They also provided a cheat sheet of places to visit, travel times, trails they enjoy, favorite restaurants, wineries, etc. that really became our master guide for the entire trip. As this was our first time up north, it was a godsend. The bottle of wine and jam left for us were also greatly appreciated and made our anniversary even more special! We had an amazing trip and look forward to visiting again.

Outstanding Vacation Rental!

We have vacationed up north for 20 years. Hands down, The Hydrandgea House wins the award for the best vacation rental!! Absolutely loved this place. It was truly a home away from home. Not only is the house beautifully decorated, but also extremely immaculate and very well appointed. The house is surrounded by so many trees; such a beautiful and tranquil setting. We did yoga on the deck in the mornings and took walks on the road leading to the main road, all the while surrounded by woods and nature . We even found ourselves hoping for at least one rain day (which we never had) so we could just relax and enjoy what the house had to offer. Erin was such a pleasure to work with. She provided clear instructions for how things operated in the house. She also provided detailed recommendations of places to visit, eat and explore. She even checked in with us just to see how our visit was going. And the bottle of wine and jar of jam that was left for us was very much appreciated. We have truly found a place in which we plan to return.

We loved our stay at this home! It is newly and tastefully decorated. The home is very well appointed - it had everything we could possibly need or want. It was also immaculately clean! The home is centrally located to all of the area activities - Sleeping Bear Dunes, Lake Michigan, hiking, biking, shopping, restaurants and Traverse City. Erin was very helpful with suggestions for activities and restaurants. This was one of the best homes we have ever rented!!

Quiet, private house in the woods - close to many beaches - in the middle of it all! The beauty of Leelanau County and central location are what drew us to this property. We've later learned to appreciate that the property has/is: good wi-fi (not a given in Leelanau), far away from any cherry orchards where pesticide sprays can be harmful and last but not least a short drive to the best pie/farm stand in all the area!

There is so much to do within a 15 minute drive. Swim in Lake Michigan. Kayak on the Crystal River. Go wine and cider tasting. Climb the Sleeping Bear Dunes. Dine and shop in the Villages of Leland, Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor and Northport. Spend a day at the Glen Arbor park with fantastic tennis, pickleball, basketball and playscape while others can shop, eat or dune climb! Take a sunset cruise in Lake Michigan. Golf at the award winning Arnold Palmer designed Manitou Passage Golf Club within a mile of the house. Enjoy the gorgeous fall colors. Hike or bike the many scenic trails in the county. Pick cherries in the u-pick orchards. Drive the county and explore its beauty. Go on a mushroom hunt. Buy fresh local eggs, produce and baked goods at the many roadside stands... Head into Traverse City to: grab a bit to eat, go on a Tall Ship, go swimming, play beach volleyball, play putt putt, pinball, shop, dine, enjoy a local brew or craft cocktail. The opportunities to enjoy the county are endless!
