Tucked away near Salt Lick, this charming cabin is just 2 miles from the Stoney Cove boat dock and the Cave Run Lake Dam & Spillway picnic area, and only 9 miles from Morehead’s shops and restaurants. This quant property boasts 3 cozy bedrooms, including a king bed, queen bed, full bed, and an extra futon for a comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer and a relaxing bathtub/shower for guests to unwind after a day of exploring or enjoying all that Cave Run Lake and the Daniel Boone National Forest has to offer. A fully stocked kitchen makes you feel right at home when its time to feed the family. And, there is a gas and charcoal grill available to use if you would rather be out doors with the family enjoying the expansive yard that also includes a fire pit. The outdoor space just keeps going with this cabin. Front and back! The screened in porch includes a patio table and chairs enjoy those outdoor meals and extra seating for just hanging out to enjoy the sunsets. If you prefer the sunrise, no worries! The back porch and upper balcony is perfect to enjoy that morning coffee. No reason to go home with dirty laundry! A washing machine and dryer are available that includes detergent and fabric softener. Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at our place.

We spent our thanksgiving here and it was wonderful. There was more than enough pots and pans to make our whole thanksgiving with. All the kids had a blast playing outside on the porch swing and hammock and using the Roku tvs! Overall it was a very beautiful quiet place to stay with the family.

The property was exactly as described. It was very clean and the screened in porch was lovely. We were out and about most of the time but it was nice to return to this cozy cabin. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful.

My husband and I are locals who wanted to be able to offer others the opportunity to enjoy all this area has to offer. The views, the lake, the Daniel Boone National Forest, dining in great restaurants and exploring regional attractions and being able to do all of this in a comfortable space. We are excited to host others can’t wait for you to visit.

This cabin is located in a small, quiet neighborhood close to the lake and all the great amenities the community has to offer. It’s on a dead end street with lots of parking, easy turn arounds for those large boats and is a very safe place to relax and enjoy being with family and friends.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This cabin is larger than most accommodating larger groups, up to 7 comfortably. If your party has more than this but less than 10, let us know and we can adjust the pricing. There is room for your air mattresses! If the walls could talk, they would be able share fishing tales of the one that got away, family gatherings for birthdays and anniversaries and endless summer nights of smores and tales around the fire pit! There is a lot of love in this little cabin and knowing this history is what makes it the perfect place to enjoy some time away from home!
