Cette maison de style colonial est situé à Princeville, qui abrite certains des plus beaux clubs de vacances, terrains de golf, des restaurants et d'Hawaï. Princeville est également le site de trois plages, Pu'u, Kenomene Beach, et Kawweonui plage, il est à quelques minutes de Anini Beach, Hanalei Bay, et la cÎte de Na Pali.

Cette maison montre fiertĂ© de la propriĂ©tĂ© et a Ă©tĂ© construit en 1995 sur un, un quart parcelle acres privĂ©e situĂ©e sur une voie privĂ©e. Lush professionnellement manucurĂ©s, l'amĂ©nagement paysager, tropical entoure la maison. Cette maison dispose de toutes les commoditĂ©s que vous attendez et plus encore. Joliment meublĂ©es avec des accents de l'Île. Grande vĂ©randa extĂ©rieure et une terrasse pour les rĂ©ceptions en plein air. Tho a house is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed at. The hosts gave us tons of information about the house and also about the area. Additionally they had lots of extras like boogie boards, bikes, ping pong and darts. My kids loved it! We would definitely stay here again.

This house was so beautiful and peaceful! It had all of the amenities we needed. They had a first aid kit supply kit that was definitely needed. The kitchen was very well supplied we were quite surprised (including a rice cooker!). The host was very communicative whenever we needed anything or had questions. The outdoor shower was amazing! We would definitely stay here again in this beautiful neighborhood.

Princeville Paradise

We spent the last two weeks at Kalika Hale, and couldn’t have been happier! The location, the house, and the overall “vibe” were perfect for us! We spent week “one” with friends and week “two” with family, and everyone loved it! The outdoor pavilion was where we spent most of our time, enjoying the beautiful, private back yard and the parade of birds that visited the feeder. The house was very well stocked with just about everything, and the game room/garage area had all the beach gear we needed. We would definitely go back!

Our recent stay started with the owner's exceptional responsiveness and pleasant communication. A veteran discount and flexibility with an early check-in were greatly appreciated and set a positive tone for our arrival.Upon entering, we found a very comprehensive 3-ring binder filled with extensive information and numerous instructions for house operation and specific checkout procedures. It's clear the owner has invested significant effort in documenting everything for guests. While the listing confirmed air conditioning, it's important to note this is only a small unit in the master bedroom. Despite following the detailed 'house cooling procedures' provided, the majority of the house consistently remained uncomfortably warm during our stay, generally between 85-88 degrees Fahrenheit, even after initial check-in (when it was 89 degrees). This made some of the home's attractive features, such as the well-equipped garage largely unusable and due to the heat. Similarly, the third bedroom, a key draw for us, was too warm to utilize as it was located farthest away from the only AC unit. There are also numerous guidelines and recommendations, including fines imposed if the trash bin is left after dumping or exceeding 4 loads of laundry at checkout, fees for missing beach towels, equipment, etc. While these details ensure thorough guest awareness, the cumulative effect inadvertently added some stress. Sadly, we dreaded returning each day...thus the 2 star review.

Perfection!

This was our third time staying here. Hard to believe it's possible, but each time the homeowners have made changes that result in even more fun! I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when we visit this beautiful old island. It's quite evident they take a lot of pride in their wonderful home.

Garden oasis

The house and neighbourhood were excellent, the focus of our stay was in the garden gazebo surrounded by numerous birds. The property has everything we needed, including deck chairs, bicycles, snorkelling gear, etc.

April ‘25 Kauai trip

Comfortable and clean home with traditional decor made our stay feel truly Hawaiian. We spent most of our time out in covered deck and backyard space where every morning we were greeted by a variety of birds. Home is well stocked with everything we needed at home and for trips to the beach. We plan to return some time soon.

Wonderful experience

The photos in the listing do not do the home justice. It’s a beautiful property, excellent location and convenient to just about anywhere you want to go. There isn’t anything we needed that wasn’t provided for our stay. We had our family (total of 5 adults) and there was plenty of room. Don’t let the “no air conditioning” worry you, you don’t need it with all the fans and the breeze. This was a wonderful experience and we hope to be back!

Excellent experience all around!

Every aspect of this rental was smooth and easy and enjoyable. Location was great, central to everything on the North Shore. Quiet and safe neighborhood. This house supplied everything we needed - including the best bbq grill we ever used on the back patio, and a perfectly private backyard lanai and outdoor shower. Plenty of clean linens and sheets as well as comfortable beds without a trace of any mold smells - very unusually clean.

The Second Time Around!

.. could a VRBO house that you fell in love with get better? YES! We were fortunate enough to stay in this lovely home for 5 weeks in January 2023, now followed by a recent month stay. Improvements include a second living area and a beautiful outdoor shower.Most everything else was wonderfully the same. We cooked a lot, enjoyed the pergola, bird watching, and gentle breezes. Scott is a great communicator and has thought of just about everything to insure that guests enjoy their island experience. We are fortunate that he has allowed others to share this treasure.

Look no further - perfect, comfortable, and clean home

Well-stocked and beautifully decorated home with everything you would need for a vacation in Princeville. All appliances, towels, and beach supplies were high quality which is not always the case for rental homes. Beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. Nice location for a home base and is perfect for an evening walk to a nice restaurant and grocery store. We also walked several times down to Wylie beach and from there over to Anini beach for swimming and snorkeling in August. Having all the amenities in this home helped.us have a great vacation.

Kalalau trail for the young ones kayaking Waiilua river hike to Secret falls.most wonderful botanical garden/mini golf on a sunny day. Only disappointment was didn't find any good snorkling all week. Fantastic family dinner each night and ping pong matches.

Great house in great location

The house was clean and beautiful!! Perfect for our family to stretch out in and had amazing property and backyard to enjoy the breeze. The house had great amenities for the beach and bikes to ride. The only downside was the overhead fan in 2nd bedroom wouldn't go above low but we just put extra fans in the room. I would definitely go back and use this place again and would recommend anyone to enjoy it! Thanks!

Excellent Location

We stayed here for a week in July and couldn’t have been happier with this Princeville location. It’s a lovely house, and the outdoor shower was amazing! Really comfy beds and we loved having the bonus room in the garage. As a previous reviewer noted, the AC is in one bedroom only, and the sign says to only use if absolutely necessary. At the time of the year that we went, we found the house very hot, but did not feel welcome to turn the AC on in the one room. There’s notes all over about how expensive electricity is on the island and we wanted to respect that. The house rules (there’s quite a few) also ask that the windows are not left all the way open when leaving the house, so it would take a while for the house to air out when we got back each day. There’s a rooster that hangs out in the yard with his hens and woke us up every morning cockadoodle doo’ing for 30 min, it was charming but some mornings we just wanted to snooze. Absolutely loved the fully stocked garage for beach equipment, though we did end up renting our own snorkeling equipment after trying out what was at the house. Appreciated the recommendation on Wishing Well, the shave ice was fantastic and we went back multiple times!

Having been born and raised in the Bay Area of California, my wife and I were no strangers to the allure of coastal living. Our affinity for the islands began even before our two daughters came into our lives. It all started with a simple invitation from friends to their condo at Hanalei Bay Resort some 30 years ago. From the moment we woke up and were greeted by the breathtaking view, we knew we had found our paradise.

Despite having explored other islands, none could compare to the beauty and tranquility we found in Hanalei. It was a dream we couldn't shake off, and eventually, we made it a reality by purchasing our very own vacation home in Princeville.

Now, our home in paradise serves as more than just a retreat for us. It's a sanctuary where we spend about three months every year, surrounded by the warmth of family, friends, and guests who gather to share in the magic of this special place.

The peace and privacy our home in paradise offers. The lush gardens, water fountains, birds bathing in the bird bath and after sunset our yard is illuminated for late night enjoyment. We have converted the garage into a very nice game room with ping-pong, sleeping couch and a 65" smart TV. A great place for the kids and adults to enjoy when not sight seeing or at the beach.
