No silk purse.The little creek running in front of the cabin is lovely. Unfortunately, the rental is not. It sits on the second floor of the family home. The two levels are connected by a staircase. A door was added at the bottom of the inside stairs but no insulation. As a result, the smells of the family (multiple pets and other unknown odors) waft upstairs. Two small windows on the front of the cabin do not open. There are two doors on the front but no other ventilation. The place stunk! The unit sleeps 6 but the living/dining area is small. The kitchen table seats four and the sofa seats three. The lack of windows feels claustrophobic. The living room sofa-recliner did not recline. The “automatic” kitchen waste basket did not open. The small refrigerator rocked forward and anything on the shelves tumbled out.Overall, the place was tidy. The floors were broom clean but could use a good scrub. Rinsing our feet left a dark residue in the shower. Finally, the septic system did not accept paper waste. This means no toilet paper. All used paper must be thrown into a trash can next to the toilet. This did not help the odor issue and added to the ick factor. The family was kind and obviously worked hard to update the aging property. The interior was nicely decorated, with lights and angel accents highlighting the property. We wish them well but cannot recommend this property.

The rooms are so close to the water stream that the guests can enjoy the views or sleep while listening to the creek sing to the moon. The bedrooms have a screen door with locks so you can keep the door open them open to enjoy the sound We offer guests a balcony with patio chairs on the upper label of a cabin right in front of the water stream and we hope the guest uses them to enjoy the breeze, and the water view We offer our guests a front porch with 4 patio chairs, 1 patio table, 1 coffee table, 2 BBQs right in front of the creek and we hope the guest uses them to cook and eat while feeling the fresh air of the mountains, the sounds of the creeks and the woods. We hope the guests enjoy a walk when the sun goes down around our bridge to experience the change of view while the solar lights illuminate the bridge, surrounding trees and cabin. and listening to the water running down the mountain and feeling the fresh wind of the woods. We’re proud to offer electricity, hot water, plumbing, refrigerator, microwave, internet, coffee maker, hot plate, dining room with table and 4 chairs, couch, FULL BATHROOM, 3 pedestal fans,3 tvs with 3 dvds 3 electric radio alarms, 3 electric heaters, 3 irons, 3 hair dryers etc.; in an area where most cabins are “dry cabins, We offer Coffee as well, tea, sugar, cups, plates, etc. We offer all that because we hope our guest enjoy their stay, we tried to please everyone and appreciated your opinions helps us learn how to provide a better service
