EntiÚrement rénové Belle maison au bord du lac avec un espace de porte incroyable!

Cette maison est entiÚrement nouvelle à l'intérieur avec tous les planchers en bois massif, des salles de bains personnalisées et une cuisine partout. Trois choix incroyables pour dßner. Profitez de la salle à manger climatisée, projetée dans le porche ou la terrasse extérieure !! Le temps ne ralentira pas un peu les vacances! La maison est située sur 3 hectares privés qui est principalement boisé juste en face du lac et Light House marina !! Il y a 4 chambres avec un matelas à oreiller de luxe sur les deux lits queen, 6 personnes avec deux salles de bains. Il y a 2 reines et trois lits jumeaux. La maison dispose d'une cuisine moderne avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et des comptoirs en granit. La cuisine et la salle à manger sont équipées pour accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes. Il y a une buanderie dans la maison.

This was a great house...was very close to my marina, The twin beds were a bit uncomfortable for adults...otherwise was perfect!!!

Great place

Lovely place to stay. Clean & spacious. Host was VERY responsive & helpful. I would have appreciated the snow being cleared, but overall lovely stay. Bring extra blankets, kitchen towels & pot holders.

Greentown Goodness

Property was nicely remodeled. Central air was a nice surprise that we used it one day. It was 90 degrees when we came back from the boat we had at one of the marinas and put it on 75. It cooled the house House is across the street from Lighthouse Harbour Marina. Everything worked fine. If you want to cook a lot you may want to bring your own sautĂ© pans and pots as there is one 8” at the house. It’s enough for frying eggs or sautĂ©ing something small, but if you’re into cooking a full meal bring your own. Thumbs up from my Wife and son so it must be approved because they are tough critics.

Too bad

This could have been a great stay. But I believe our host forgot about our booking. I did not receive an email or text with check-in instructions. I had to reach out several times/several ways to contact the host. Finally did, well after check-in. We entered to find the property pretty closed up. Heat was off and wouldn't turn on. Thermostat read 54 degrees F. Cable was out. Spiders and evidence of mouse infestation. Clearly no one had opened the lake house for occupation. We communicated with Brian, the host, via text and phone. He was irritated with our requests. It was a 'busy' time for him (holiday weekend). He finally offered a full refund if we left. We accepted. VRBO customer service was a challenge. I provided all requested documentation (screen shots of text conversation, photos) but I had to contact customer service four times before the promised refund was processed. It's too bad, because this is a decent property. Not luxury; it's a lake house. A different host would have made this a very different experience.

PA Getaway

This is our 2nd time renting a VRBO home for vacation. It suits us so much better than a hotel, because we don’t like having to eat out 3 meals a day for a week, and it’s so much nicer to relax and unwind in a house after a day of activities. This house is spacious, and clean, with many places to hang out. We barbecued on the outside deck, had a big pancake breakfast in the screened in porch, watched a couple movies in the cozy living room, and cooked many meals in the kitchen. Loved seeing the deer every morning and evening!! The keypad lock was so convenient, with 4 of us coming and going, and not having to worry about getting locked out and keeping track of keys! My “kids” (19 & 20) walked down to the lake at LEAST twice a day. You can’t see the lake from the house but it’s literally like a three minute walk. The only slightly negative thing I have to comment on is that several of the reviews said the house was quiet and secluded. The house is set back a bit, but it is on 507 which I would consider a main road for that area and you can definitely hear the traffic noise, when you’re outside, and on the screened in porch. The other houses are not too close, but you can see them, and I don’t categorize that as secluded. I joked that maybe the people that considered it quiet and secluded were from Manhattan😋 Overall, great house, beautiful area and a lovely vacation. This family of Long Islanders thoroughly enjoyed Pennsylvania!

Nice base for visiting Lake Wallenpaupack

Nice, clean, updated house. Depending on the weather, you can take your meals in the dining area next to the kitchen, on the screened in deck, or out on the open air deck. Note that the house is across the road from the lake, so no lake view if that is important to you. Maybe in Wintertime, you can see it IDK. Property owner was very quick to respond to questions.

Nice Vacation House!

Clean and very well equipped home with a nice open layout that was conducive to family interaction! Our three 20-something-year-old “kids” loved hanging out - even with their Mom and Dad. With one TV in the living room, we all enjoyed watching together - a rarity in our multi-screen (and social media hooked) family. Thanks to the owner’s Netflix account, we got to binge watch “The Office” in between activities at the lake and the surrounding area. One of our favorite activities (in addition to golf and kayaking) was hiking at Bushkill Falls. At the house, we played games and kept a jigsaw puzzle going on the great screened in porch. Cooking in the kitchen or on the grill was easy! For dining out, both The Dock and The Boat House provided delicious meals and fun nights out for our crew. Brian, the property owner, was always just a text away to check in with us or answer a question.

Excellent Rental

This was the cleanest property I have ever stayed in. The home is beautifully decorated and stocked with everthing you would need. Bring food and never leave!! Home is quiet and secluded. The location is great for hiking to waterfalls or a day trip to New York City! Communication with owner was excellent both before and during the stay. Would definitely book again!
