Retraite sur la rivière Black River - Lac Supérieur / Pointe Copper

Ceci est une maison privée sur 40 hectares entourés de bois et de zones humides. C'est un endroit très isolé avec beaucoup de paix et de tranquillité à avoir (le voisin le plus proche est 1/4 mile away). C'est une base idéale pour explorer le Northwoods et toutes les choses à voir à proximité. Il y a une grande cour avec un grand parking et un espace pour les remorques et les campeurs.

L'espace:

La maison est modestement meublée et tous les éléments essentiels sont là. Casseroles, vaisselle, draps, serviettes, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetière goutte à goutte, T. V., et stéréo (Bluetooth activé), sont tous fournis. Il y a un lit queen dans la chambre des maîtres avec une salle de bain privée. Deux lits simples dans une autre chambre et un lit superposé dans la troisième chambre.
Il y a une connexion WiFi gratuite!

Interaction avec les invités:

Nous vivons à proximité et peut être atteint pour tout problème ou de conseiller sur ce qu'il faut faire dans la région. Généralement les clients s'enregistrent et sortent, sans que nous soyons là du tout. :)

Autres choses à noter:

Il n'y a pas de meilleur emplacement pour accéder à la zone! Nous sommes à 5 minutes du tremplin de ski Copper Peak (que vous pouvez monter jusqu'au sommet de). Il y a beaucoup de Mtn. faire du vélo à Copper Peak ainsi que la piste de ski et de vélo Wolverine à environ 10 minutes. Nous sommes à 10 minutes du lac Supérieur et des belles cascades de Black River Harbour, ainsi que de nombreuses autres cascades qui sont à mentionner.

Il y a une grande pêche et une rampe de mise à l'eau pour accéder au lac Supérieur au port. La maison est juste de l'autre côté de la rue de la rivière Noire avec une bonne pêche, pagayer, ou parfois juste un flotteur par temps chaud.

La maison est sur le sentier de motoneige / 4 roues, qui est relié au reste de l'UP et du nord du Wisconsin.

C'est à 5 min de Big Powderhorn Mtn. domaine skiable, et 15min des domaines skiables Indianhead / Blackjack. Le domaine skiable de Whitecap est à environ une demi-heure et le parc d'État et le domaine skiable de Porcupine Mountains sont à environ une heure de route.

Centre-ville Ironwood / Hurley est d'environ 15 minutes en voiture.

We brought our family and dogs up to this nice retreat in Ironwood. Great property for the dogs to run around off leash in a safe environment. Have a lot of fun hunting for rocks at little girl’s point. Our stay was very comfortable and the house was well kept and clean. Many thanks for a great long weekend!

It was fun and there is actually 6 waterfalls on black river road! Northern lights were the coolest thing I’ve ever seen!

We recently stayed at Jason’s retreat! It was perfect for our family and our dog. House was spacious for us, had what we needed to use, and close to the water falls, Lake Superior and much more. Jason was quick to answer any questions I had as well. Hoping to get up there this winter to stay again while going to the ski hills!

A Superior Visit

This was our second visit to the Black River Road Retreat. Had a great time finding waterfalls and visiting the Black River Harbor beach. The retreat was a great base to explore the area. It feels remote, but you are only really a few minutes from anything you need. This trip, one in our group needed medical attention and the Aspirus walk in clinic was great!

A little bit of everything in the U.P.

Jason’s house is a great place to stay. Close to Ironwood, Lake Superior, and other local destinations, it’s convenient and comfortable. We had fun walking around the property too! I would recommend to family and friends, and look forward to staying here again.

Little piece of paradise

The property was wonderful. Our dogs loved being able to run around on the acreage and we loved walking the property. It’s close enough to town to be accessible but far enough out you feel like you’re part of nature. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location!

We explored the Ironwood area and this was a great location for our "home". It was close to the waterfalls, Little Girls Point Beach, Black River Harbor, downtown Ironwood and Bessemer, Cooper Head Peak. Beautiful area! Even woke up to deer eating the apples in the front yard.

Perfect Patriotic Stay

This was the perfect place for our family to stay. We were visiting extended family for a reunion and 4th of July festivities. The home had everything we needed and we enjoyed some of the outside space as well. Communication with the owner was great. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you.

Huge lot retreat in UP

Our whole family including 2 dogs enjoyed walk in the back yard every day and proximity to Lake Superior was a big deal for my son who likes rock collecting.

President’s weekend at Powderhorn

Returned to Black River Retreat for our second time this season with family, friends and fellow volunteer ski patrollers. Your property is a nice fit for us, cozy, clean, close to the hill and pet friendly. Beautiful weather, a great weekend.

Welcoming the new year

Four of us friends and our two dogs stayed at the Black River Retreat for 3 nights. The lodging is clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Our dogs really enjoyed walking the trails on the property with us. It was a great fit for us.

Nice getaway

Very comfy. There is room for lots of people. Set up well, had everything we needed. Great place for our senior dog who doesn't do so well with a lot of steps. House is centerly located and easy to get to.
