Relaxing Beachfront Escape

LOCATION

This beautiful beachfront home is nestled in the cozy Sea Isle neighborhood which is approximately 25 minutes from Galveston. You will have easy access to the restaurants and attractions Galveston offers while enjoying a more private feel at the beach and incredible ocean views.

THE HOME

You are just steps away from the beach. From the backyard, take the private path through the dunes for a short walk to one of the best beaches that Galveston has to offer. Easily come back to the house throughout the day to grab a snack or rest. Rinse off the sand using the private outdoor shower conveniently located on the lower patio. Enjoy cooking and eating together around the kitchen bar and dining table that joins with the family room. The open floor plan allows you to enjoy the beautiful ocean views from any one of these rooms and never feel secluded from the action.

BEDROOMS

The home consists of three bedrooms and two full baths with the master bedroom located on the main level featuring a king size bed, smart TV, and direct access to the bathroom with walk-in shower. The remaining two bedrooms are located upstairs. Bedroom #2 features a queen bed with smart TV and Bedroom #3 has two sets of twin bunk beds and features a TV with DVD player. Both bedrooms upstairs share a Jack and Jill bathroom with shower/tub combination. There is also a ‘Murphy Bed’ located in the family room on the main level. The bed folds into the cabinet during the day and can be easily brought out at night (please see photos).

DURING YOUR STAY

Upon your arrival, use the upper-level deck on the beachside of the house to access the front door. Inside you will find a wide open floor plan complimented by beautiful ocean views. Grab some beach toys provided onsite and take a short walk using the private path directly to the beach. Hang out with your group on the beach building sandcastles, surfing on boogie boards, or just relaxing on the beach. Utilize the lower patio for excellent shade from the sun which features a wooden porch swing for ultimate relaxation along with a picnic bench for outdoor BBQs. You will also find a charcoal grill to make your favorite burgers or steaks. Nighttime walks along the beach can be a great opportunity to search for ‘ghost crabs’. These small nocturnal crabs are completely harmless but fun to spot making their way across the sand. Don’t forget to bring your flashlight!

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS

Galveston features a number of attractions that serve as fun adventures for you and your group including Moody Garden’s Pyramids, Schlitterbahn Water Park, The Strand, and more. We provide additional information regarding these area attractions within our guest app.

BEACH ACCESSORIES STOCKED AT THE PROPERTY

The home is stocked with beach items to enhance your experience and reduce the number of items you need to purchase and pack for your trip. These items typically include boogie boards, sandcastle toys, beach umbrellas, etc. Due to the nature of beach items, we are unable to guarantee all items are available or in pristine condition. Although we restock these items on an ongoing basis, they are used by guests and do incur wear.

Need beach chairs, a beach canopy, or a golf cart during your stay? We have a local company that rents these items. They can deliver these items and pick them up at a reasonable rate. Their contact information is listed under 'Local Rentals' in the Local Guide section of our guest app which is made available upon booking your reservation.

STOCKED ITEMS

This home is well-stocked starting with a kitchen that has just about everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals. Just bring your favorite ingredients! All beds are made prior to your arrival with clean sheets. Freshly laundered hand towels, bath towels, and beach towels are provided. We also provide a starter kit of paper products intended to make your first day comfortable but you will need to plan on purchasing supplies on your way to the home or after your arrival.

NEIGHBORHOOD AMENITIES

Within the neighborhood there is the nearby West End Marina which features a restaurant, bar, store, and bait shop. Just across the street you can easily drop by Sea Isle Supermarket for a wide variety of items. The community pool is also available for guest use with an additional fee. Pool hours and fees can vary depending on the dates of your reservation. Please inquire with us for more information.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

Check-in time is 4PM on your arrival date. Please do not request an early check-in time as we are unable to accommodate early check-ins due to the complications this causes for our cleaning staff.

If you arrive to the island before 4PM, please utilize our guest app to find one of the many restaurants or attractions Galveston has to offer. These can serve as an excellent meeting place for members in your group and a fun way to start your trip.

Check-out time is 11AM on your departure date. Please adhere to this departure time so that our staff has adequate time to prepare the home for the next guest. Late guest departure from the home may result in additional fees.

HOUSE RULES

EARLY CHECK-INS: We are unable to accommodate early check-ins due to the complications this causes for our cleaning staff.

AGE REQUIREMENTS: All guests must be over the age of 25 unless accompanied by their parent or legal guardian throughout their entire stay.

PETS: This is a pet-friendly property! We allow 1-2 dogs depending on size. 2 dogs are permitted if both dogs are under 20 lbs. No dogs over 25 lbs are permitted at the home. Cats or any other animals are not permitted. When completing your reservation, please be sure to check 'Pets' when selecting number of guests. There is a $100 non-refundable pet fee that will be applied to your reservation. Failure to notify us that you are bringing a pet may result in immediate expulsion from the property without refund or a $200 penalty fee in addition to the pet fee. Please notify us prior to arrival if bringing a pet.

Guests are expected to clean up after their pets. Please remove any pet waste from the yard or excessive pet hair in the home prior to departure. This is not included in the cleaning fee and may create additional fees if additional cleaning is required.

*This home is equipped with an outdoor camera for added security and may also be used to confirm violation of house rules.

Violations of house rules may result in immediate expulsion from the property without refund. Examples include additional guests not listed on your reservation, unauthorized pets, violation of property age requirements, parties, etc.

COMMUNICATION

Once you complete your reservation, we will provide you with all the information you need to fully enjoy your stay at the home. If anything comes up during your stay, we are always responsive and happy to help.
