Disappointing
Our stay at this cottage was much less than expected. We booked last minute and there was limited inventory but I now understand why this place was available. Upon arrival the cottage was filthy. Just inside the front door there was a coffee spill down the wall and the floors had definitely not been cleaned. Inside the shower was a handful of long black hair. The kitchen was infested with small red ants.Before unpacking we had to clean the cottage. We also replaced the sheets with ones that we brought just in case. Definitely needed. No top sheets and old musty comforters. Biggest disappointment was a broken fridge although replaced by the owner 18 hours later it was too late for some of the food we brought.As far as what is included, or not included but should be. There were no games inside or out. The dock in the photos does not exist and to get into the lake you have to wade through about 10’ of weeds and garbage that has floated in and never been cleaned up. Television did not work. No sharp knives, no coffee maker, no glasses and limited kitchen supplies.We had to scramble at the last minute due to damage sustained on a cottage during a storm that we had rented for a lot less and had a lot more.If renting assume it is a campsite and bring everything you will need.Adequate if charging around 200 a night but I still would not stay there
