This gorgeous lakefront home is the perfect getaway for families and groups looking to have some fun at the lake. The beautiful backyard has lakefront access with a dock. This property offers 3 floors, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The living room is beautiful with a luxurious fireplace for guest use. The kitchen has all the appliances for cooking needed. The loft offers another bed and a TV and the unfinished basement has a ping pong table and laundry machines. A great place for a getaway!


NEIGHBORHOOD:

The neighborhood consists of lake homes, which are primarily vacation and second homes. A number of retirees live in the area. It is expected that guests will help to keep the neighborhood pleasantly quiet and peaceful. The home is only a 10-minute drive from downtown Oscoda.

The entire area is famous for fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, and nature viewing and there are a number of different places in the area for these activities. There are also several places in the area that rent out boats, kayaks, and paddleboards for fun on the water if you don't have your own watercraft.


ACCESS:

Guests have access to the entire property excluding the garage and boat on the dock.


SPACE:

This beautiful home offers three floors, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The two bedrooms downstairs have queen size beds a closet and ceiling fan and the upstairs bedrooms has a queen size bed, a stand-up fan and access to the upstairs bathroom. There is a full bathroom downstairs with a shower and a full bathroom upstairs with a jetted bathtub. The living room is comfy and spacious with a great and extravagant fireplace for guest use. There is a dining area that seats six and a fully functional kitchen with a coffeemaker and popcorn maker. The upstairs loft offers a full size bed and a TV along with a portable fan. The unfinished basement offers a ping pong table, a loveseat, a couch, and the washer and dryer.

Moving outside there is a firepit in the front yard and Van Etten lake in the backyard. Van Etten Lake is great for swimming, kayaking or whatever other water recreational activities you'd want to do. There is also a dock but the boat on it is not for guest use.


TRANSIT:

It is highly recommended that guests have their own vehicle.


PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) NO SMOKING: NO smoking within the building.

2) CAPACITY: No more than 8 guests in total.

3) PET POLICY: Pets are not permitted at the property.

4) INDOOR FIREPLACE: The indoor fireplace is available for use by guests.

5) GARAGE: Guest use of the garage is prohibited.

6) BOAT: Guest use of the boat is prohibited.

7) NO AIR CONDITIONING: Please note that the property does NOT have air conditioning. As such, it may get warm in the house during the summer if it is warm outside.

8) NUMBER OF GUESTS: Please note that our pricing is based upon the number of guests, with pricing being higher with each additional guest that is included on the reservation. Please make certain that the correct number of guests is specified on the reservation so that the pricing is correct.

9) EARLY CHECK-IN: Our policy is to allow early check-in on the day of arrival if the property is available for check-in. We will not know until the day before arrival whether or not the property will be available for early check-in or not. You can check with our local property manager the day before arrival or on your arrival day to see if the property will be available for early check-in or not.

10) LATE CHECK-OUT: We maintain a very strict and structured cleaning schedule. As such, late check-outs are strictly prohibited.
