I drove from Atlanta, which is a 12 hour drive to Houston. Three hours out from Houston. I decided to check and see if I had details on how to enter the unit. I did not. I reached out to the whole multiple times with no reply. VRBO‘s website was down literally after reaching out about 5 to 6 times. I put my phone number in the note and received a call back and was told the owner overbooked. The owner NEVER REPLIED! I wish I had seen the additional reviews that said the owner was unresponsive. BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK! This is my first bad experience with VRBO.

We booked this property for a yearly convention due to it's proximity and modern amenities. The location was convenient and safe. The private garage was an added bonus as our vehicle's had been broken into at other locations in past years however it is important to be mindful of vehicle size as the garage is a tight fit for a full size SUV. We had a couple of issues with access to the property but those were promptly handled by the property manager and did not cause any real inconvenience. The beds were comfortable and the stay went well. In the future we will probably consider this property first when attending our conference.

Host was not responsive to inquiries before check in and prior to check out. Did not provide detailed responses to inquiries on our responsibilities for check out and would not provide check in details until less than an hour before check in. typically we get details for check in and check out 2-3 days before check in and check out. Pictures and description of the property were not accurate. There was no fold out couch and no bidet's. There was water damage in the ceiling above the laundry area, the linoleum flooring is coming up in several areas that we kept tripping on and there was mold in the washer but it was the little things that made the experience "ok". 4 of the 6 dining room chairs were too small for the table, when seated the top of the table was about shoulder height and there were no stools at the counter as shown in the picture and the table decorations made the dining room table useless unless the decorations were removed. There were no paper towels, dish towels, oven mitts or hot pads to put things from the oven on. There was only one knife, and no scissors. The pans were less than ideal, everything we cooked stuck to the pans and made cleaning a hassle.There were no wash clothes or hand towels in the bedroom bathrooms/showers. The towels are white and stained so there is no way to know if they have been washed or if the stains are permanent.

One of the things I enjoy most is the variety of dining and entertainment options available. Whether I’m in the mood for a quick bite or a fine dining experience, there’s always something delicious to discover. Plus, the nightlife is vibrant, with plenty of bars and lounges where I can unwind after a long day.
I also appreciate how walkable the neighborhood is! I love taking leisurely strolls to The Galleria Mall, where I can shop or simply enjoy the atmosphere. It feels great to live in a place where I can easily connect with the community and enjoy outdoor spaces without needing a car all the time.
