Such a wonderful getaway! Perfectly appointed, quiet, and cozy. Communication with the host was excellent. Really enjoyed my stay - will look to stay here again!

Clean and comfortable 2 bedroom home convenient to Acadia park access. Enjoyed the backyard with our dog. Kitchen was well stocked to make simple meals. Sauna was for one person and some games in the game room were not functional. Common area upstairs was very comfortable and cozy. Plenty of space to play board games and cards at dining table.Easy drive into Bar Harbor for dining and shopping. Overall stay was excellent.

Good location on the quiet side of MDI but close enough to the action. Host was super responsive!Game room was fun on a rainy afternoon. Thoughtful touches like binoculars and extra blankets (for Cadillac sunrise) included.

Air conditioning in the living room was not sufficient to cool the bedrooms. The toys and books were my 4 year olds favorite. 2nd bathroom shower was very small and in the basement. It felt like there is no air circulating in the basement. The host was easy to reach out and quick to respond.

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re so glad your little one enjoyed the toys and books, and that you found us easy to reach and responsive. We’re sorry the bedroom temperatures were not as comfortable as you would have liked. The home’s air-conditioning unit is located in the main living area, and we provide fans in each bedroom to help circulate the cool air throughout the home. We weren’t contacted about any temperature or airflow concerns during your stay, but we would have been very happy to help troubleshoot or provide additional fans if we had known. We’ve also added additional information to our listing so guests know in advance that the home’s air-conditioning unit is located in the main living area as reflected in the photos, and that bedroom fans are provided for circulation. The basement naturally stays quite cool year-round, and the basement shower is the home’s secondary shower; the primary full bathroom is located on the main level. We appreciate the feedback and are always looking for ways to make the home as comfortable as possible for our guests. Thank you!

This house was perfect for our family trip to Acadia. We were traveling with two kids and there is a whole cabinet filled with toys and games which was perfect for the kids. Details like a little kids table with crayons, coloring pads, scavenger hunt activities etc really went a long way to make us feel welcome. The outdoor space was gorgeous and we made great use of the grill and fire pit. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home and the sheets were crisp and clean. There were little sample size shampoo/conditioner bottles in the bathroom so if you are staying for more than a day or two you’ll need to bring your own. The kitchen is well stocked with a full spice rack, oil, vinegar etc. and plenty of cooking and serving equipment. There are regular backpacks, hiking backpacks, and hiking sticks available for use. We did not bring any pets but I saw pet bowls available too. Location wise, it is about a 20 minute drive to anywhere on the island. Echo Beach is pretty close.

This property had everything to make a fantastic vacation! The location was great for all of what Acadia is about. Loved all the amenities. Made us feel like we had a private spa resort to ourselves....can't say enough about this property! Everything you could want in a vacation property!

The property was spotless and provided us with a comfortable and fun base for visiting Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The game room was perfect for our family on the one day that our hiking was rained out and the fire pit out back was great to sit around during the cool MDI evenings. Every detail was considered and there so many thoughtful touches throughout the property. The home and the area were pet friendly. We had a great stay and would absolutely consider staying again on our next visit to the area.
