Beyond Excellent

The estate studio is everything one could hope for. Beautiful gardens, numerous patios, large swimming pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen, parking on the gated grounds. Inside is very comfortable King bed with cotton sheets, jetted tub with multiple shower heads and grab bars and luxury towels and fully stocked medicine cabinet, mini refrigerator and microwave, snacks and bottled water and soft drinks,coffee set up, walk in closet with robe and slippers. Oh and hair dryer, flat iron, straightening brush, iron, etc. The hosts are amazing people who made me feel welcome and pampered. Hidden from the busy street ie a quiet oasis you should not miss.

Great place for a short stay

Kathy was a great hostess and was attentive to all your needs. The place was a large air conditioner, one bedroom, with private entrance. It had a writing table, a large closet and king size bed with pillows and a window seat. Also, a nice size bathroom, with tub/shower; a small microwave, and refrigerator. It also came with a coffee maker, teapot, dishes and utensils. Kathy provided coffees, teas, sodas, water and other amenities. You had access to several patios, a pool and hot tub. Across from the pool was a much larger pool house, which she also offers; and if you plan to have an extended stay, I suggest this one, we stayed two weeks, and had to eat out every day, so the larger accommodations would have been a better fit. The entry into her driveway was off a busy road, which made turning into it a challenge. All in all this was quite a pleasant experience.

Cozy Oasis Could Not Ask For More!

This was a true GEM to find post LA Fires. Safe onsite and street parking if needed. Bed and pillows incredibly comfortable. Windows with gorgeous and colorful view surround on 3 sides. All windows seem to open to fresh air and have privacy shades as well as curtains. Patio with fire BBQ sink and drink fridge are meant for your stay. Seating in large garden or lounge at pool. Host was charming and friendly. She offers plenty of privacy and makes you feel right at home. The studio has a microwave, counter height fridge with freezer, set of dishes and silverware, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. Powder room is full of everything you might have forgotten to bring. Laundry service is available to you. Just ask!I will be returning in future for business and to have those much needed personal retreats.It is in a great area close to anything you might need out and about.

Spectacular Studio

Kathy is a kind, gracious, and absolutely superlative host! I would give the poolside oasis more than 5 stars! It is truly an oasis away from loud commotion. Where do I start
the King bed is luxurious and very comfortable, there are benches, chairs, window seat to stretch out in the studio. The bathroom is fully stocked with everything you might need. A fridge in the entryway have sodas and water! The Wifi is super fast to get anything done you may need to for work. I did multiple Zoom meetings and also high definition imaging downloads and sharing with no issues. The pool in the backyard is gorgeous! It was warm 86 degrees while I was there and very clean! There are many pool floats, games for kids, and exercise equipment. I used the outdoor kitchen to make dinner a couple times. It is well equipped with grill, range, blender, toaster, coffee maker, and dishwasher! You can eat outside with the gardens and pool or indoors. The gardens at night are lit up beautifully and so much fun to enjoy with gazebo, swings, lounges, and chairs, and tables. I cannot say enough about Kathy’s place and will definitely be back. You will not regret your stay. I highly recommend staying here!

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Unique private 1 acre beautifully landscaped walled and dual gated estate comprised of one 3000 sq. ft. main house with a a self contained upscale beautiful 800 sq. ft poolhouse with 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom/gourmet kitchen. Also attached to the main house (but has private entrance) is a nature lovers 1 bedroom/1 bathroom pool side guest studio. The Studio has French doors which open onto a shared stone patio (BBQ & outdoor kitchen) gardens with the hidden spa and of course the window seat which overlooks the huge blue pool.

Shared space by all consists of a 20 by 40 ft pool, stone patio (BBQ & outdoor kitchen), garden with secret spa, gazebo and abundant outdoor sitting and dining areas, multiple fire pit areas available for lounging and barbecuing. Please see pictures.
We have had many movies filmed here.
This place is just relaxing, expansive, feels like you are in the country, private and fun !!!!!

We are centrally located in what I consider the middle of Los Angeles.
Can go have lunch at Baba Gumps on Santa Monica Pier within 25 minutes.
Catch a movie at the Grummins Theatre ( Stars hand and footprints in front of theatre) in Hollywood in 20 minutes. Hours of fun walking around there and good shops.
Can go snow boarding or skiing within 1 hour.
I like the restaurants and Comedy clubs at Universal Studio's 20 minutes away.
San Francisco is a breathtaking coastal drive, away!
You can be in Las Vegas by Noon if you leave at 6 am, fascinating drive into desert.
We are 20 minutes (traffic dependent) basically from
Hollywood, Santa Monica Beach, Malibu, Downtown, Museums, etc.

We live in Northridge, recently name has been changed to Sherwood Forest.

We are pretty much in the center of the San Fernando Valley area of L.A... Home to Universal Studios, etc. We are in a section of large land parcels unique for L.A., thus
the walled and gated secluded feel. All the old movie stars Clark Gable, Lucy Ball lived in this area. We are 1 mile from CSUN , California State University of Northridge..

I would say you need your own car here, public transportation is not good. We have a Lincoln Aviator SUV for larger groups, and a Mercedes S550 for rental as well..

Neighborhood is very green, luscious and beautiful homes when you can see them behind the walls. Bedroom community.
We have developed our 1 acre walled and dual gated property akin to a resort style. Please refer to the pictures and I think you get the feel for the place.
