Cette propriĂ©tĂ© est un vĂ©ritable «chez soi loin de chez soi»! Nous sommes situĂ©s sur le magnifique Brushy Creek, une section calme du lac Smith, idĂ©al pour la navigation de plaisance et le ski. Ce 2 Ă©tages, avec une grande maison en mezzanine est situĂ© sur le canal principal et comprend 2 Master King Suites, une grande salle voĂ»tĂ©e avec cheminĂ©e, une vĂ©randa, ainsi qu'une terrasse supĂ©rieure et infĂ©rieure. Il dispose Ă©galement d'un quai privĂ© de 2 Ă©tages avec un slip supplĂ©mentaire pour emmener votre bateau si vous le souhaitez. Grande taniĂšre en bas est Ă©quipĂ©e d'une table de billard, baby-foot, cheminĂ©e, tĂ©lĂ©vision et wet-bar. Le meilleur de tous ... la vue Ă  couper le souffle de toute la façade, les fenĂȘtres du sol au plafond dans la grande salle Ă  l'Ă©tage. Vous ne pouvez pas battre une «escapade Brushy Creek»!

Family trip 2025

We stayed here for our 2025 family vacation. We had 12 people ages 5 to 56. All 3 of my kids, significant others and grandchildren. Plenty of room. We like to cook and the kitchen was more than adequate for our family. Even used the grill. We spent most of our days at the boat dock swimming and fishing. Weather was great and the grandkids had a great time. I spent most of the nights kicking everyone’s butt playing pool. Nobody beats the old man. Easy check in and check out. We would definitely go again. Thank you

View from living room is very nice as shown in the pictures. Access to lake is easy. Dock is located in a cove so easy/safe to swim with the kids. Area is quiet. Enjoyed have access to a pool table. Not shown is worn/weathered kitchen cabinetry and very outdated feel and look. Not much kitchen counter space/island to accommodate our family of 8 adults. Location is far from any stores/groceries so make sure not to forget anything. We were short on TP and paper towels and no beach/pool towels provided/available. Served its purpose for a 3 nights but would not stay again as there are likely better places for the money.

Dated furnishings.

On line photos are probably 15 years old. There were numerous repairs that have been neglected (some made me feel unsafe). Stairs, furnishings, decks, windows, doors, are in need of replacement or at least repairs. Power was out for a couple days and the property manager was able to put us up for a night at a different location (thanks you for power and hot water. )

Amazing Family Vacay!

This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. The house is very spacious for many people to enjoy. The stairs going down to the pier were not as steep in person as I thought they would be by looking at the pics. The host was awesome to work with. I highly recommend this house for your next big family gathering.

Great weekend Getaway!

Wow! The views on the water here are amazing! This property was exactly what we needed for a quick weekend getaway with family but I wish we could have stayed longer! The house has everything you need and more! The host was easy to communicate with and made checking in/out very simple. Would recommend to any larger groups or families!

What’s better than hugs from the Grandchildren!

Spending time with our children is important and can be challenging at times. Grandsons at BAMA and SAMFORD inspired the Thanksgiving vacation to Smith Lake. This property is so much more than a rental, it feels like a family home. The bedrooms, 2 living areas with fireplaces, amazing lake views, large dinning area, and fully equipped kitchen is the perfect home for our family. Accented with art inspired by the surroundings. A small grouping of family pictures topped off the warmth of the home. Access to lake is only a few steps from the fire pit and outdoor dining area. We enjoyed spectacular sunrises and the golden hour of the sunsets. Our family enjoyed fishing, reading, a round of golf, and sitting around the dining table! A place where memories are made. The host is the best! Simple check-in and responsive to our questions.

Our group of 7 loved staying at the house this weekend!! It had everything listed online and the host, Celeste was amazing at communicating and super friendly. It was a beautiful and peaceful weekend. We're looking at returning!

What an awesome place! The whole family had a wonderful time at Brushy Creek Getaway. The property owner was very helpful and responded to any questions I had. It's a great place for a family vacation. I would definitely recommend it for anyone interested in staying on Smith Lake.

Smith Lake Houston Cabin Rental

We rented the house for the weekend in February for a family gathering. The house was clean but some of the bed mattresses were well worn. Due to leaves and debris blocking doorways and steps, it appeared to have been empty for a while. The door alarm system activated unprovoked during the middle of the night, waking everyone on the main floor, especially those sleeping in the 5 "bedroom" (actually an open loft to the kitchen and living room). The heating system varied greatly from floor to floor and room to room. We were unable to get the gas fireplaces to work despite receiving a quick response to our texts to the home owner. The views were great but the lack of outdoor activities for use during cold temperatures was obvious. The indoor game tables that were used as a selling point turned out to be unusable. The pool cues were missing their tips and the foosball table was warped. Due to the house's location in the back of a remote community with narrow roads, groceries are recommended to be purchased in advance. Alcoholic beverages can only be bought stores in neighboring counties. Our visit was good but would most likely have been more enjoyable in the summer.

Amazing!!!

This was our second time to stay here. We absolutely love the location and the house! Celeste is so easy to deal with and reach fir any issues or questions. The only thing that would make this absolutely perfect is if there was an opportunity to rent a boat with the property instead of having to rent from the marina.
