Wonderful property, good communication. Extra amenities included 2 charcoal grills with charcoal. Also extra firewood for fire pit, two kayaks and some inflatables for swimming.We rented a boat at triple creek marina and had it delivered to the dock which was very convenient!

Not only was the house spotless, comfortable, well decorated, and inviting, but the hosts were very personable, quick to reply, and even let us check out after the agreed check out time so that we could look for a pair of lost car keys.If you’re looking for a weekend retreat at a beautiful and well maintained lakehouse, there truly is no better spot than this. The hosts are easy to communicate with, very friendly, and extremely understanding in the case of any issues that come up. I would highly recommend this location, and would like to offer my sincere thanks to the hosts for all their hospitality.

I took several photos of all out door areas covered in old foliage the cob webs and insects were everywhere and we could not and did not enjoy the bigger picture of our door enjoyment. We packed everyday and went to a family members home. I expect some of my money returned. If you want the photos let me know.

Candy- I'm very sorry to hear that there were so many spider webs outside. We had just visited a few weeks before to check on the house and we were just there again this weekend. We did see some spider webs so we blew them off. Unfortunately, there are insects outside the property. As much as we try to prevent this, it does happen.

The owners were so very nice. The house was perfect! Layout was great especially with guest bedrooms downstairs. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for Thanksgiving with the family. Highly recommend.

Loved our stay

This house is better than the pictures. The kitchen has everything you will need. The beds were all great. The pool table downstairs was a huge hit for our family. Will definitely stay at this house again.

Exceptional and a perfect getaway!

We traveled with two families (including 5 boys) and it was absolutely perfect for us! It was so nice, the beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was perfect. The fire pit stole the show, and it was a great couple of days on the lake and the kids had a blast! The host was amazing and so helpful!

Great property on Smith Lake, close to town

Very nice property for our family rental. Beautiful lot and screened-in porch overlooking the lake that will make you never want to leave! Very clean property with plenty of space to relax. Highly recommend the property. We will definitely go back!

Legacy by the lake is a wonderful property. Nice location and beautiful furnishings. We loved the screened porch. Perfect for viewing the lake and leaves. Big screen TV was great for football Saturday! Definitely recommend. Thanks!

Mom Getaway

9 of us got away for a weekend at Smith Lake. It's a miraculous feat for 9 Moms to get away at the same time and this house fit all our needs. It was well appointed, comfortable and such a beautiful setting. We had the best time and would come back again and again.

Nice Place

Plenty of room for my family and my sister's family. Our boys (ranging from 16-21yrs old) really enjoyed the pool table and relaxing down by the water. Be ready for a leg work out - it is 113 stairs down to the dock. We had a really good time.

Great getaway!!

What a perfect place! We were so impressed with this lake house! The beds were so comfortable! And so many pillows!!! We loved all the little touches that made it even more special! Like every kitchen gadget imaginable!! The soaps were from bath and body works! The outdoor spaces were comfy and a perfect place to drink your morning coffee and the fire pit was a nice place to unwind! The place is perfect for weekend getaway with friends!

Beautiful Property

We had the most wonderful time this weekend. The neighborhood was 2 easy turns from interstate. The home was furnished and decorated beautifully. The outside living area was so perfect, and the lake was so relaxing. Perfect set up for kids, teens, or friends. Ample space for everything. So many personal touches. It felt like home. Owner had great communication. Highly recommend.

Best STR experience!

My family and I usually stay in 2 or 3 STRs a year and this was one of our best experiences in a rental to date! I’m going to list the reason below: 1. The rental was decorated incredibly well with high quality furnishings. Your typical STR has uncomfortable ikea furniture and beds, but this one had very nice, comfortable furniture. 2. Well stocked kitchen! There are a lot of pots, pans, plates, and utensils making cooking enjoyable. 3. Host offered us an early checkin and late checkout which was very helpful. 4. Big towels and comfortable blankets which made the stay feel like home. 5. We were at the fire pit every night and they provided chopped wood. This place felt like being at home and we will definitely be coming back!
