Paradise

We enjoyed the stay so much, especially the hospitality. Even before our trip, the communication was very cordial. The house is well equipped, the beds very comfortable, the pool lovely.

Very pleasant stay, beautiful home!

We had a really nice stay at Chris and Celia’s house. Spacious living room, two bathrooms, just perfect. And the space around the house!! Our kids really enjoyed it. Also Celia is a wonderful host, if we come back for Normandy wel will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay in Normandy perfect for families

We all really enjoyed our stay at C and C gites. Host Celia was so friendly and welcoming making the stay easy and enjoyable. Gite was perfect and layout worked well with baby. Perfect location for day trips out and great garden and pool for relaxation days in. Would definitely recommend this property. Thank you Celia and Rolo for our perfect stay 😊

Absolutely lovely and relaxing week

Our family has enjoyed very much our stay at Le Pommier. Celia and Chris were the perfect hosts: they made our stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation was perfect for our family and the purpose of our week of holiday mixing relaxation and learning moments, the accommodation was: decorated with taste, immense garden, trees shadows were appreciated and so was the pool.

Lovely property perfectly presented

Beautifully and carefully renovated property. Very comfortable with all the luxuries. Perfect garden and swimming pool is a bonus. Wonderful welcome and we were well looked after. Overall best experience of a rental we have had.

We loved our stay at the Gite. The photos don’t do it justice. The property and gardens are stunning and Celia & Chis are the perfect hosts. They were so kind and helpful to us. We can’t wait to visit again.

Absolutely perfect! This is the ultimate VRBO to stay at in Normandy. Celia and Chris are phenomenal hosts. The Gite is beautiful, quiet, clean, and so relaxing. I would highly recommend for anyone who is going to view Normandy sites. The welcome we received was so warm, the wonderful welcome basket, Celia being available for questions and needed information made our stay a pleasure from start to finish. Rolo is a delight as well! We hope to return, and will definitely tell all our friends about C & C gite.

Fantastic

Was made to feel very welcome upon our arrival, provisions had also been provided for us which was a very kind thought. The Gite is magnificent, modern but with a traditional twist, the gardens are beautiful and Celia and her husband are great hosts. The property is very close to the Normandy Beaches and all the historic sights which are integral to the area. Plenty of parking available so no worries on that score. Our stay there went far too quickly but we all will be back in the not too distant future, cannot recommend highly enough

Beautiful gite - perfect for visiting DDay beaches

Our family of 4 adults had a fantastic two weeks in Le Pommier. The gite is spacious and well-equipped with a beautiful and extremely peaceful garden. It is ideally located for a huge number of historical sites (DDay beaches, Bayeux, Caen) and the region is great for nature walks and relaxing. Celia and Chris are absolutely excellent hosts. We were extremely well-looked after and Celia’s tips on visiting places like Vauville (and where to park in St Mere Eglise!) were spot on. We would definitely recommend the gite to anyone looking to visit this beautiful and immaculate part of Normandy. Fabulous for families, culture and relaxation.

Amazing respite in the heart of D-Day area

Our family of 6 stayed here for a week during the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and informative. They provided us with relevant information and friendly conversation - our particular favorite was Rolo their Lab! ;) This Gite is much larger than the pictures would suggest. It was equipped with everything we needed to include a lovely welcome basket of breakfast essentials (and wine)! It is a quick 10 minute drive to St Come du Mont and a small shop with the basics and then another few minutes to Carentan for anything else. The fenced yard is spacious and calm and provided a quiet space to spend time alone or with friends. We also rented the annex with the en suite and it provided another private restful location to retreat to. Thank you so much to Celia and Chris for being such great hosts. We hope to return soon!

Wonderful stay in Normandy

We had a great time, the house is very convenient and comfortable. The description on the website is correct. It is calm and peaceful. The location is not far from Utah Beach and St Mere L'eglise. Thank you very much to Celia and her husband for their warm welcome. Hope to come back soon.

Fijne 1,5 week in Le Pommier. Uiterst attente gastvrouw. Matrassen goed, maar als 'lange Nederlanders' zijn bedden van 140x200 een uitdaging, zeker als je er met 2en in ligt.Heerlijke tuin met zwembad. Keuken is ruim, keramische kookplaat, en een mand met stokbrood, croissantjes en pain o chocola bij aankomst. Samen met de biertjes en de fles bubbels een heerlijke binnenkomst.

Aanrader!!

Zeer aangenaam verblijf van 1 week gehad. Geweldig huis en meer dan hartelijk ontvangst door bekwame gastvrouw/heer. Wij verbleven hier 1 week met kinderen leeftijd 6-14 jaar en hebben zeer genoten van het grote zwembad. Indrukwekkende omgeving veel interessante sites van d day in de nabijheid. Bedankt voor de fijne week.
