Located in a quiet neighborhood, it offers easy access to downtown, the North Adams Hospital, and Mass MoCA, and is just a short walk from the playground at Kemp Park and the swimming beach, hiking trails, and seasonal events at Windsor Lake.
Please note: The rental includes the care and company of two sweet, healthy, and affectionate indoor cats, who live fulltime on the property. No other pets are allowed in the house.
Included are full laundry facilities, garage parking, a sunny back yard, and a comfortable deck for sitting, eating, and socializing.

Born near Plymouth, on Cape Cod Bay, I have lived and worked in the Boston area, Philadelphia, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Norwich UK, and Austin TX, before returning to New England in 2019. In a quiet end of North Adams a little removed from the bustle of downtown, the house is near Mass MoCA and Windsor Lake, and short drives from museums, hiking trails, and other amenities in the north county area. From the upstairs, one can see the mountains of Vermont and the top of the Berkshires.

My 1914 house, slowly but carefully being restored after a few years without any one living in it, retains all the features of the late Victorian style. Not only is it warm and comfortable, there are two friendly kitties who love to be brushed and played with.
