The guesthouse is set behind its own privacy fence, giving you a peaceful, enclosed space to relax and unwind. Whether you’re soaking in the hot tub under the stars, grilling dinner on the BBQ, or enjoying an evening under the glow of string lights, you’ll feel like you’ve discovered your own hidden gem in the country.



Inside, the open living area features a queen sleeper sofa, a cozy sitting area, and a TV for relaxing nights in. The adjoining kitchen and dining area are well-equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, including a full-size fridge, stove, microwave, and coffee maker.

Beautiful place. Lots of essentials in case you forgot something. Views were beautiful, easy to get in and plenty of space to hang out and relax! Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed at the Cozy Stay in Goldthwaite this past weekend for the high school graduation. The home was clean, well stocked and decorated very cute. The check in process was very easy and convenient. The host was amazing to work with and available when needed. But the best part of our stay was view from the house/hot tub. It was stunning especially at sunset. We enjoyed the location of the house as well which was not too close to town and not too far !!

Wonderful attention to details. Very clean and modern feel. My family is very grateful we found this little gem tucked away in the hill country. The owners are very friendly and quick to both welcome us and keep us informed throughout the stay. My daughter is already looking forward to the next visit.

We loved our stay and hope to stay here each time we come to visit our family. The property is secluded away from any other living area. At night we turned off the outside lights and gazed at the stars. The property is well maintained and has a secure fence around the entire house with an electronic gate for entry. There were flowers around the house, and through the windows we were able to watch hummingbirds and butterflies as they fed on the blooms.Everything has been well thought out to make the stay comfortable. Each light switch is labeled for convenience. There are cabinets with pans and bakeware and drawers with all sorts of kitchen utensils. There is a reverse-osmosis faucet for filtered water. Besides dishes and glassware, there is foil, plastic wrap, and sandwich bags in the pantry. It has plenty of towels, hangers in the closets, and a vacuum to use if needed. We stayed comfortable with setting the central air to 70 degrees. We were amazed by the thought that the owners put into providing everything needed so we didn’t have to bring stuff with us to get by during our week-long stay.Janae was extremely helpful during the entire process and promptly answered any questions we had. She provided us with detailed information about the property prior to our arrival and had the lights on when we arrived late at night for our first night. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and such a great host that together helped make our stay so pleasant and carefree.

House was maybe the most well thought out, well constructed, downright cozy short term rental that I have literally ever stayed in. Everything was clearly thought through: with ample bath towels and hot tub towels (appropriately labeled), usb cords with every type of connector in every room, an awesome hot tub that required no confusing instructions to make it work, a door code/gate code that was set to the last 4 digits of my phone number, a tv that autosigned you out of streaming services on checkout, cookies and pretzels for snacks and bottles of water in the fridge… I could keep going…The house itself was secluded, secure (behind an initial auto gate to enter the property and a second gate to park behind), well constructed, and perfectly decorated for the style of home. I could literally keep typing positives about this place, but I supposed the best thing I can possibly say is this: I have NEVER written a review for anything. Ever. This is my very first one and I remember when the internet became a ‘thing’…. Thats saying something.
