Welcome to your lakeside retreat â thoughtfully designed with comfort, charm, and modern convenience in mind. Here's a room-by-room peek at what you'll find:
Screened Front Porch
A peaceful spot to start or end your day. This cozy porch features two modern log chairs, table lamps for soft lighting, and a front-row seat to nature. The most common sound youâll hear out here? Deer rustling through the woods. In the early morning or quiet afternoon, thereâs a good chance youâll spot them passing through â a little moment of magic, right from your chair.
Living Room
Designed for togetherness, this cozy, light-filled space invites conversation, connection, and the kind of downtime that makes a getaway memorable. Whether you're chatting with friends, enjoying a good book, or watching a movie on the wall-mounted HiSense Frame TV, itâs a room meant for gathering and unwinding â not just passing through.
Kitchen & Dining Nook
The kitchen is designed for ease and enjoyment, whether you're prepping a quick bite or gathering for a relaxed meal. It features a dedicated coffee bar with a selection of pods and locally roasted, pre-ground beans from Through the Flame Roasters, a wine fridge, and a microwave for quick heating. Two counter-height bar stools offer a spot to perch with a snack, a drink, or even your laptop â if you must. An LG stackable washer and dryer are also available for your convenience. The space is thoughtfully stocked with cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools so you can keep things simple or get as fancy as you'd like with your meals. The dining area offers a welcoming place to sit down and enjoy whatever you whip up.
Screened Back Porch
The heart of the home â this expansive screened-in porch is where most guests end up spending their time. Dine alfresco at a table for six, or stretch out on one of the two loungers made for serious unwinding or even an afternoon nap. (If there are more than two of you, be prepared â people have been known to playfully fight over them.) A comfortable sofa, two deep-seat swivel chairs, and two modern accent chairs round out the conversation area, all centered around a large, tilting flat-screen TV. With the ease of a switch, the electric fireplace adds instant warmth and ambiance. Flush-mount ceiling heaters provide additional warmth during cooler months, making the porch a cozy gathering space all year long. Cordless LED table lamps are placed throughout, offering soft, stylish lighting with just a tap of a finger â perfect for quiet evenings or late-night chats. The buffet counter makes entertaining effortless, and the pass-through kitchen window keeps snacks and drinks flowing. Just outside, two balconies â each with a high-top table â offer more places to sip, snack, or unwind. One balcony holds the hot tub, and the TV on the porch can be positioned so you can enjoy your favorite show or the big game while immersed in bubbles and complete bliss. All of this overlooks beautiful and quiet Sunset Cove â a peaceful backdrop for connection, comfort, and unwinding at your own pace.
Primary Bedroom
Sleep in a king-size bed with crisp linens, extra blankets, and the largest closet in the house. A HiSense Frame TV blends beautifully into the decor, and bedside lamps create a cozy glow. Each side of the bed includes a modern charging cube with USB, USB-C, and standard outlets for all your devices. For a restful night, blackout shades and a wind sound machine are provided to help you drift off with ease.
Primary Bathroom
A spa-inspired bathroom featuring a spacious, tiled walk-in shower and thoughtful touches throughout. Enjoy amenities like a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion â plus Q-tips, makeup remover towelettes, and a menâs shaving kit, just in case.
Secondary Bedroom
Wake up to lake views and step through your sliding doors onto the back screened porch â one of the main attractions of the home. This peaceful retreat features a queen size bed, another HiSense Frame TV, reading lamps on either side of the bed, and a matching charging cube for your devices. Blackout shades and curtains let you choose between sleeping in or soaking in the morning sun on your own schedule.
Third Bedroom
While cozy in size, this bright and inviting space features two large windows that fill the room with natural light. A full-size bed is flanked by bedside tables, and a custom closet offers space to unpack and settle in comfortably. Blackout shades help create a restful and private retreat.
Second Bathroom
This guest bathroom features a combination shower and tub â great for a quick rinse or bathing little ones. Amenities match the primary bath and include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, a hair dryer, Q-tips, and more.
Youâll almost certainly arrive by automobile, as this is a rural region with no public transit options (no buses or trains nearby). Most guests drive their own car or rent one to explore the area and nearby towns.
While Uber and Lyft are technically available in Abbeville (ZIP 29620), service is very limited and wait times can be long. Rideshare is often hard to find and not dependable, so having your own transportation is strongly recommended.

Ă propos de lâhĂŽte
HÎte : Buck Davis
Iâm originally from Abbeville but now call Atlanta home. Much of my family still lives in the area, and our lakehouse is right next door. We bought this place almost two years ago and have loved every step of turning it into what it is today. Every detail of the renovation was done with guests in mindâto create a space thatâs indulgent but never pretentious, where you can truly unwind and connect with each other in a comfortable and beautiful setting.
Voici pourquoi lâhĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement
Weâve loved this cove for nearly 20 years, so it felt natural to create a place where others could experience it too. Just over two hours from Atlanta and a little more than an hour from Greenville, itâs close enough for a quick getawayâyet far enough to feel truly away. Itâs peaceful here, with calm waters, great fishing, and deer often wandering by. The pace is slower, the air feels fresher, and itâs the kind of spot where you can truly step away from the noise and recharge.
Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique
Honestly, thereâs nothing else like this on the lake. Every detail was chosen with comfort and style in mindâfrom the modern design to the expansive screened porch thatâs truly the heart of the home. Here, you can dine alfresco, curl up on the sofa, or claim one of the coveted loungers for an afternoon nap. A large, tilting flat-screen TV, electric fireplace, and flush-mount ceiling heaters make the space inviting year-round, while the pass-through kitchen window keeps snacks and drinks close at hand. Just outside, two balconiesâeach with a high-top tableâoffer more spots to sip or snack, one with a hot tub perfectly positioned so you can watch your favorite show while soaking under the stars. All of this overlooks quiet, beautiful Sunset Coveâa backdrop designed for connection, comfort, and unwinding at your own pace.
