Entering the home was a bit tricky because the steps to the keypad door were loose and could have easily broken under foot. The house was amazing, clean, beautiful and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

My husband, two of our young adult daughters, our two dogs and I had a lovely stay at Allegan Gardens. The house is charming, and the owner has added so many details to make this feel like something more than just another vacation house rental. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and took full advantage of the pool, the grill, patio and fire pit area.It's a very short drive into downtown Saugutuck and all of its dining and shopping offerings, plus plenty of spots to sit by the river and watch the boats go by.All in all, just the relaxing stay we were looking for.

Perfect weekend getaway!

If you are looking for a relaxing weekend away, look no further! We had a great time and would love to go back when it is a little warmer to see the gardens and use the pool. The hosts have really thought of everything you need. Beautiful home.

The PERFECT stay

This was my most comfortable stay by far. It was very comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Great place if you have dogs! Host was friendly and very responsive. Would recommend!!

Great Getaway Spot

We enjoyed this property. Close to downtown and beach. Absolutely loved the pool, the temperature was perfect. It was a nice house and backyard for our family just to hang out and have fun.

Home is stunning, beds are comfy and location is great!

I would highly recommend staying here! We had a great time. You can walk to town from the house which is great. The house is beautiful and very accommodating for adults and kids. Love love loved our experience at AG!

Great house with a pool

We had a great time stay at Allegan Gardens. The owner was very responsive and helped us with all of our questions. The kitchen was well-supplied and the backyard is very nice. There were a few places for improvement : some koi ponds in the backyard that had stagnant water, which were a hazard to my pets . And also the wood steps by the entryway seemed to be unsafe from deteriorating wood. We used another entrance to be safe.Overall a really nice place to stay!

So much room!

I will totally come back to stay again. Everything was provided and simple to access. Comfortable beds, easy access to town, and the pool was a hit with the kids. It was very home-like and cozy.

Great Spot for a Getaway

My wife and I stayed here along with our two labs. All of us enjoyed the stay. My wife and I enjoyed the classic home (nicely restored), the cleanliness, the thoughtful touches in the house, and the central location. The labs loved the backyard, watching wildlife out the window, and nearby parks with hiking trails.

Another great vacation

We have stayed at Allegan Gardens for several years now, and it is always great. Close to town, but very private. Our family always enjoys the pool. The host is easily reached if we need anything, and his response time is quick. It is a great place to stay with our children and our grandchildren.

Perfect getaway!

The house was everything and more than we expected! The owners went above and beyond to make sure anything you needed was provided. The heated pool was amazing and definitely a big highlight of our trip! We would love to come back again and will always have great memories of our stay at Allegan Gardens!!
