The Lemon Tree apartments are dated. The interior matched the photos on the website, but was not as clean as I would have liked. If you are looking for a quite room this is not it. The air conditioning system was noisy and you could hear people in other apartments moving about and you could hear their TV's.

I loved this spot! It was the perfect accommodation. Everything was neat and clean. I made good use of the writing desk to get some work done during my stay. The view from the front window was very peaceful. If you park in front of the unit, there are big trees that give lots of shade. The bed was comfortable and huge! I also really appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the apartment feel like home: hangers in the closet, plenty of towels, a hair dryer, and comfy pillows. The host was also so responsive and helpful when I had initial issues with the wifi. I absolutely recommend this spot for trips to Austin! You can vibe like a local during your visit in a safe, beautiful neighborhood.

Great location

Such a great stay and in walking distance to alot of my friends and most importantly torchys tacos. Super accomodating as well. Great walk in closet and comfy bed too!

Visiting family in Austin

The location was great, convenient to coffee shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too firm for me. I would stay there again.

Wonderful Stay

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Ames apartment. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a safe location. Instructions were clear and hosts were responsive during our stay. It’s about 10-15 mins away from downtown in a car depending on traffic. Would stay there again :)

Great Experience

Everything was perfect! Our stay was short but we will definitely return as it was a very nice and quiet neighborhood, the unit itself had everything you could need, it was clean well kept.

This was a good short-term rental for the price point. It was very clean, and the layout was great. My only challenge was that the outside was very dark, lots of dead leaves, with a trailer full of what looked like materials (sinks, flooring, etc.) parked out back near the unit, so it looked unkempt at first. When I went in, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, despite it being an older unit with many worn areas. Also, the bed had a great foam mattress, but because it had metal bars underneath and not a bunkie board, it made it very uncomfortable - I felt each bar throughout the night, which didn't make for a great night's sleep. In addition, I could hear the upstairs tenant pulling something across the floor throughout the night. With a few changes, it would definitely be 5 stars.
