This peaceful retreat is a sanctuary from the bustle of daily life!  The main living room is intentionally TV-free, encouraging meaningful connection, quiet reflection, or simply soaking in the gentle whispers of the surrounding forest. It's the perfect space to unplug and embrace the calm.
For cozy entertainment, head downstairs to the basement living room where a large TV invites laid-back movie nights. Even more excitement awaits in the separate Rec Room, complete with a very large TV—perfect for epic game days or fun-filled movie marathons—and a ping pong table for friendly competition. Step into the hot tub and melt into forest views as you soak under the sky. Whether it’s morning mist or a canopy of stars, this is your moment to relax deeply and breathe freely.

Bedroom 2: Main level, king bed, ensuite bath, electric fireplace
Bedroom 3: Lower level, 2 queen beds with twin trundle bed
Bedroom 4: Lower level, 2 twin beds and twin over full bunk
Bedroom 5: Lower level, king bed 

All linens for bedding, towels and washcloths are provided. Paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available. 

The driveway can fit 3-6 cars. 

SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. Explore the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops downtown. The Shenandoah Valley offers many attractions including caverns, wineries and breweries. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Enjoy river tubing and kayaking during warm weather. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive and The Appalachian Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking opportunities.

This home is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA) and is governed by its rules and regulations as well as federal and state laws and ordinances.
This is a residential community - please respect the community and the neighbors and know your nearby neighbors may be full time residents.
*Please review the HOA Rules below and in your rental contract.

Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am during which time the noise from the house shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. 
No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents.

This home has designated parking (a driveway All tires must be off the roadway if parked on the road. 
Do not block fire hydrants.  
Do not park in front of another property.  
There is an overflow parking area if needed, located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten.  
Buses, campers, and RV’s may not be parked at houses or along neighborhood roads. 
Parking rules violators may be subject to having their vehicles towed.

No open fires permitted in Massanutten. 
This is a high wildfire risk area!   
Fires are strictly prohibited at this property and in the community shared spaces.  
Grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions.  

No illegal substances are permitted at the home and open containers of alcohol are prohibited on any road or common area.
No smoking inside the house. Smoking in the house will incur a $750 fine. Smoking is allowed outside of the house, but all butts are to be cleaned up and safely removed.

**Pets are NOT allowed at this property.

All Trash must be taken to the dumpsters located at 4007 Peak Drive, Massanutten, at check out. 
A minimum fee of $75 will be assessed if trash is not removed. 
Trash may not be left outside the home as it will attract wildlife which could endanger you and damage the property. 
Trash should be removed regularly.

*This home is located in the woods. You will likely see insects (including some that fly) and arachnids. 
Please be aware they may come inside when doors are opened, especially when lights are on inside.
*Please note that package delivery is not available at Massanutten homes.
*Minimum age to book is 25.

Note:  This home is in the mountains and is subject to seasonal weather and other natural changes. It is likely this home may occasionally experience insects, arachnids, and other wildlife. Preventative treatments are performed regularly, and guests can help reduce encounters by keeping food sealed and minimize light exposure at night. As this is part of the natural setting, refunds or moves are not offered for such occurrences. Please consider this before booking.
