Camp Moose- Red River Gorge

Unique cabin tucked away under an 80 foot cliff. A relaxing, spacious cabin located near Red River Gorge. Many things to do in the surrounding area including hiking trails, restaurants, Hollerwood - off road park, under ground kayaking, Natural Bridge, and zip-lining. On site there is a grill with grilling utensils for use along with fire wood and place for a fire. There is a large deck with space for you and your guests to socialize.

4 bedroom - 5 bed get away. 3 private bed rooms with queen beds and a loft with a queen and twin bed. Walk in shower located on the main floor.

Guests have access to the entire cabin and outdoor space. 3 bedrooms, a loft, full bathroom with a walk-in shower, full kitchen and coffee bar, along with a living room with plenty of seating for guests.

Please note that we recommend you arrive during the day time to make finding this cabin easier, however, it is not mandatory. This cabin is located 1-2miles down a gravel road, maintained by the county. That being said the conditions of the road may vary, potholes, rougher terrain, ect. Communication will take place during the winter months as the snow and ice is the ONLY time this has posed a problem. AWD or 4x4 recommend but not mandatory.

The name “Camp Moose” comes from my father who lost his fight to cancer the year Abby and I bought this property. He was a jack of all trades and taught me so much. He worked at a dude ranch in Lyons, Colorado as a cook where his nickname was “Moose”. That dude ranch just so happened to be named “Peaceful Valley” which is also the name of the community here in the Gorge. The skills he left me with are what allowed me to build this beautiful get away.
