THE GRAPE ESCAPE is a cozy & peaceful one room cabin overlooking Keuka Lake. Conveniently located 1/2 mile up the hill from Hammondsport. Located on Finger Lakes Wine Trail / Brew Trail. Private outhouse (composting toilet) and outdoor private shower. Clean and setup for couples. OFF THE GRID Glamping at it's finest! NO Electricity or running water, however we have unique options to accommodate a comfortable stay. Please Note: NO LINENS / PILLOWS / TOWELS are provided.

Terrific way to unplug for a couple of days! This is a great way to go camping if you don’t want to haul a camper or bring a text. We went in late May and the weather was perfect. Cool at night and peasant during the day. We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch and the Adirondack chairs on the deck by the fire pit. We stopped by Bully Run Winery and Museum. Perfect place to sample wine, learn about Finger Lakes wine history, and buy some wine for the campfire. Everything was clean and easy to use, including the outhouse and “hobbit” shower room.

We had an amazing stay in Hammondsport. The cabin had everything you could think of and more! The view was amazing. The downtown and many wineries, breweries and distilleries were very close by which made for a great weekend escape!

We had the absolute BEST time here! The entire surrounding area is so beautiful with many opportunities to do things- and almost everywhere is dog-friendly! It was super easy and fun to bring our dog. The place itself is absolutely gorgeous and so many different accommodations to make a great stay. The hosts are wonderful and will truly do anything the guests. We highly recommended and can’t wait to go back!

We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite.

Perfect little cabin close to hiking, restaurants, and shops. Dave was super responsive and helpful. The view of the lake was beautiful and incredible to wake up to every morning.

My wife, JoAnn and I grew up in this area. We recently moved back and built a new home on this 8 acre property. Keuka Lake has many memories for our 4 grown children. They do not live near, but come back to vacation here every year. Our hope is that you will enjoy this beautiful land as much as they do.

We nestled the cabin in the woods for complete privacy. It is NOT located on a heavily trafficked road. Bully Hill Winery is one mile up the road. They offer wine tasting and have a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake. Nature surrounds this little cabin with bird song and lake view.
