Pretty ranch

Nice comfortable ranch with beautiful new kitchen, new bathroom room. Nice fluffy towels. Beds were comfortable. We just need a place to sleep at night for daughter’s graduation and this was more than what was needed. Less than booking hotel . Host responded quickly and when my flight home was cancelled quickly let me book another night.

Nice little house

The property was great. A short distance to the convention center which is what I was looking for. Everything was neat and clean. No real negatives worth mentioning. Was a good stay.

Bad odor and tiny bedding/towels

Overall the stay was just ok. The house was a nice size and the host was easy to communicate with. However, when we first entered the house we were hit with a strong pet urine odor. There are pet odor absorbers throughout the house so the host must have known it was an issue. The couch was broken so if you sat wrong you hit yourself on a beam. I stayed in the middle of winter and there was just thin blankets on the bed that barely fit. Definitely not large enough for more than one person (you can see in the pics in the listing that the blanket does not go over the sides). Additionally the towels were tiny and in poor shape, with stains and loose threads. No kitchen towels were provided either. Lastly, the outlets in most of the bedrooms do not work when the lights are off, so we were unable to charge our devices in the bedroom overnight.

We were only in town for 2 days and this property was a good fit for us and the pups. Big back yard plenty of room for the dogs.

This is a great property for winding down after a work day, which was the purpose of my trip. Cozy and thoughtfully decorated. Great host!

Good for our use

Nice enough house for our purposes, and not far from some really great food! The couch should be replaced, and there were no dish towels that we could find. There seemed to be a little too much air freshener smell recently applied, so not sure how much use this house gets. Quite a bit of traffic on the road throughout the day, and enough noise gets into the house while you are sleeping.

Location Undesirable

Location leaves much to be desired & there were not sufficient locks on the outer doors to provide the sense of needed in the area. Reached out to owner right away to see if we could get a refund on the 2nd night at least, as we were not staying & needed to rent a hotel in a safe area. We were denied the refund, but was offered the $95 cleaning fee back. Future renters should use their own discretion & do your research first. This is just our experience. Property itself is decent.

The Perfect Pick

Alex's place was perfect! Our family was in Columbus to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. The VRBO house was just a few blocks away so we were close to mom's and could quickly meet up with other family members without the hassle of driving miles to get together. The house was also well stocked with linens, paper products and Keurig breakfast blend coffee! We even made use of the electric car charger! This was such a good find for us.

Adequate

Overall the property filled our needs. However, there were only 3 wash clothes for 4 adults. I contacted the property owner who thanked me for letting them know. He/she also asked if we had enough for our stay. No we did not. 4 does not go into 3. I feel it was a blow off so I did not respond. Also, one of the house rules was to put the towels in the wash machine and start it before checking out. I have never been asked to do that anywhere. The patio furniture was dirty and the glass table was broken and needed updating we did not4 does not go into 3.

Another excellent stay

We have been staying at this house annually for several years. This was another excellent stay. Nice kitchen, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, good Internet, and a quiet neighborhood. We will be back again next year.

Weekend concert getaway

We (elderly mother and daughters) came to Columbus for a concert at Nationwide Arena. We needed a ranch and this house was exactly as advertised. Incredibly clean, wonderfully decorated with a phenomenal amount of bath towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay without any negative surprises. I would definitely stay here again.

Great House for Family Visit

Our Family had a great stay here. House was comfortable and roomy. Beds were surprisingly comfortable! Alex was very helpful and responded promptly. Couldn't have asked for a better place o stay in Columbus.

Thanksgiving weekend

The house met our needs although we were only there to sleep and eat breakfast. Our main complaint is that the blanket/comforter was too small for a queen sized bed. All linens were supplied and essential toiletries were there. Wifi worked well and TV worked well.

Columbus Ohio visit

Weekend stay to visit our son. House was clean and had lots of extra amenities. TV had several paid subscriptions Alex the owner was able to accommodate early check in and provided property managers contact information if we needed anything.
