Property was really well located for exploring the area near state parks and Whitefish Bay. Lovely waking up every morning to sunrise over Lake Superior. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice house to stay in. Everything was clean and well kept. Nice view of the lake. I'd stay here again if I come up to the area.

We had a small incident and got locked out. The host answered the phone right away and worked quickly to get us back in. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect spot to many attractions. Very clean cozy home with everything you need. Easy access to trails. Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning watching the sunrise and having coffee and then in the evening playing cards. Amazing place with a lot to offer with a host that was very responsive, friendly and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights to get away from the hustle of the bigger towns and stay near Tahquamenon Falls. Communication was excellent and very quick to respond. Would definitely recommend.

Good location, well presented. Pretty well equipped. However, the site images imply use of an observation tower and use of second level balcony—-both are blocked off. Both would have added to the experience.

There are no images of the tower in our ad, you can go up to the third level but because of liability reasons you can not go to the top. The second story balcony on the house is accessible if you open the door and go out.

LOVED sitting on the porch and watching the lake. The sunrise was unmatched. Really great place to stay.We had a small maintenance issue that the ownerand manager jumped right on and got fixed right away.

This was my first time to the UP and it was a great stay thanks to Don and his chalet. He reached out before our stay, and during as well. The breakfast table view was lovely, and we were able to tell the wind direction just from looking at the lake. Inside of the chalet was cozy, and warm, with nice comfortable furniture, keurig option, washer dryer, etc. The location was so conveniently close to Whitefish Point, where we rock hunted by day and night (where we found yoopers!), and Tahquamenon Falls too. One note of appreciation is that the bedroom lamps had USB ports for charging essentials. Thanks for giving us a home away from home, Don!

If you're traveling to the area to go to the ship wreck museum or Falls, it's a great place to take-off from. The house is very clean, host was more than responsive and the views of the lake are beautiful. With the shoreline, it's not easily accessible. There's other areas for that north of the rental to pick rocks and walk the beach. Highly recommended property.
