Ours was a group of 8 senior women, meeting for a reunion. This was a repeat visit for us and we enjoyed the generous and well-provisioned accommodations (a bed for everyone), near the airport, and convenient to local eateries. We also had an excellent view of the ocean from our balcony. We will probably go again next year! Check it out!

Very nice condo. Two refrigerators and 2 ovens were very helpful in meal prep timing for the family.Was frustrated by late communication regarding limited parking. We are used to one car per bedroom. Found out two weeks prior that each condo was limited to 2 cars. Would have greatly appreciated knowing this sooner as more if a full disclosure at time of rental. This condo was very spacious and great for a family reunion of 10. Pools and beach access were great. Parking if the two allowed vehicles was very close proximity to entrance- very helpful/convenient for elevator and garage access. Very pleased overall.

A perfect place to relax.

This was perfect for our family get together. The kids loved jumping from the lazy river to the hot tub to the beach. Easy access and a place to enjoy relaxing by the beach and pool all day.

July 2026 - 4 stars. We would stay there again. I'll give the pros and then the cons to explain why I did not give it 5 stars. A lot of space for us - three couples, a teenager and a toddler. Two refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 a/c units, a double oven and plenty of glasses, dishes, pots and pans (but limited flatware) worked well for the 8 of us. There was a door in the hall between the living room and 3 of the bedrooms which meant those who wanted to sleep a little later were not disturbed by the early risers in the living room. The location was great, near Market Commons and all it has to offer, but away from the crowds further north. Close to the airport can be a pro, there were a lot of planes flying by, but not too loud. The third floor unit meant we did not have to use the elevator coming in from our parking space which was convenient. Being steps away from the beach, pool, hot tub, and lazy river were big pluses. The pool had an area for toddlers blocked off from deeper water, which was helpful. The electronic keypads to get into the building and into the unit worked well. The cons were broken vertical blinds in the primary bedroom, hairs in the bed in one of the other bedrooms, a broken washing machine that washed, but did not spin the clothes. The blinds were reported our first day, but no one came to check on them until we complained later about the washing machine. Only 2 parking spaces, but you can get a 1 week permit for 50.

Large beachfront condo!

Great location on the beach. Condo had nice amenities and was fully stocked with all the necessities. Nice part was there were 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers. The only negatives would be that people would shoot off fireworks at midnight. I also missed being able to walk to everything - we usually stay in Hilton Head. Overall we really enjoyed our week there.

Penthouse 2 was exactly as advertised after our original reservation had to be changed from condo 303 due to remodeling. The penthouse is a beautiful and quiet condo. No problems with anything during our stay.

great place to stay for large family

Over all very good. Parking garage is difficult for larger cars. View is great from the large balcony. All beds were very comfortable. Only thing I would do different, as a rental property owner myself, is the living room couches and chairs...very uncomfortable. They seem to be fancy sets of outside patio furniture. Over all good stay 4 stars!

Family Together

The unit was perfectly situated in South Myrtle Beach. The views of the beach and ocean were amazing. The pools outdoors and indoors, were well maintained. If I stay here again I will bring a swiffer to clean the hardwood floors, and dish towels because the one provided was not sufficient for 10 people in one week. The dryer did not work properly,but hopefully it will be fixed.

Family get away

5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Handicapped accessible in that It is all on one floor Yes. Walk in shower yes, but has a small lip to step in. Low toilet, so we had to go to Walmart and purchase a raised toilet seat. It has a balcony to view my happy place. “Ocean” It accommodated my family of 8 very well. The beds were very comfortable. The furniture itself was outdated but in great condition. I am so glad they changed that red wall paint. We were 10 minutes from the activities we were looking for. We had an easy entry and departure. The apartment was clean. There was a lot and I mean a lot of dishes (outdated but in good condition). We did have to bring our own blankets which was ok. They were working on the lazy river so it was closed. which was a downer. The ice machine stopped working towards the end. And the dryer was not drying things all the way. It felt like we had to keep the dryer going and going. But considering this view. I’d take this apartment any day

The property was wonderful, very spacious and clean. The porch furniture was fairly new, beds were fairly comfortable, but could use upgrades on living room furniture (it was outdoor furniture) and dining chairs (heavy iron rod chairs). Access to the beach and pool was excellent! The hosts reply quickly to any issues we had while we were there. We had to call maintenance once and they were efficient and fixed them.

We have stayed there for the past 3 years and location and service are top notch. The property itself is starting to show some wear and tear, like chipped dishes and glassware, plastic cups that leak, the handle won't stay on the air fryer though we re-attached it. The mattresses are plush but the mattress cover would not stay attached in the master BR, the sheeting and bedspread thickness and quality is inferior to what I find in budget motels, but comfortable and clean. Although it still commands a prime price due to location, nice parking (2 cars), layout (5 Bedroom, 4 bath), it needs some extended TLC to bring it make to its glory days. The internet lags and pauses (it has each of our 3 years) which makes game playing (kids complain) and watching LIVE the NBA finals, Stanley cup and college world series a little frustrating while it refreshes and pauses. There are decent options on the Roku sticks, but it would be nice to be able to add HBOmax, youtube and youtubeTV to the slate of apps for guests even just to allow them to use their own credentials. The Roku sticks are locked out by the owners. As far as TV size (diagonal dimensions), they are small compared to typical offerings but doable. They did replace the seating on the deck since last year which is welcome and enjoyed. It's hard to find a place where covered lazy river, hot tube, open pool are so convenient and all within a short walk from the pool to the surf.

This condo was clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The washer and dryer worked well. The pool area was kept clean. The beach is wide, and there weren't too many people. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Accommodations

We will definitely be back at the Ocean Blue. The property and the property management company were timely and everything as advertised. Perfect for large groups who still value a little space and privacy.

Beach Plantation Vibe

We enjoyed our stay and had plenty of room for our 11 guests to spread out. We had a great view of the beach and pool but we were surprised that we could not access the beach from the property after 9 pm and the pool manager was a bit of a jerk when we tried to go out for a beach walk around that time. (This is not something that the owner can control but be advised.) Overall the property itself was nice. It could use some more pots and pans for cooking for a large group but there are plenty of dishes and we loved the dual refrigerators and dishwashers. Our biggest issue was that the furniture in the living room was really uncomfortable which would not have been an issue but we had two really rainy days where we needed to relax inside.
