Great location with easy access to Sterling centre and Adelaide Hills attractions. Narrow drive to rear property that might challenge oversized Utes! Nicely renovated with all amenities. Beautiful terraced garden.

Wonderful place to stay

This cottage is so welcoming and comfortable and surrounded by a beautiful garden and plenty of outdoor spots to enjoy it. It had everything we needed including a well-equipped kitchen. You would never know you were a 5 min walk from Stirling with great supermarkets, shops and restaurants. A short walk the other way is a small lake which is great if you want to go for a jog. We loved our time here and are already planning how we can come back sometime soon. Highly recommended!

Beautiful quaint cottage within walking distance to the heart of sterling.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mabel cottage!! The cottage is a gorgeous original cottage, immaculately presented with plenty of room for a family. The gardens are stunning with lovely outdoor areas to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of your surroundings. The beds and linen at Mabel cottage are of the highest quality and the bathroom with its luxurious spa was a real treat. You will not want for anything while staying at Mabel cottage as everything is provided. Luxury at its best with very friendly service. Thank you kindly! Tabitha Pannell

A very cosy place to stay

Communication was good so not sure why there was a mix up on arrival. This did not however detract from the cottage when we got in. Very cosy and warm when fire was going and very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were extremely comfortable. Drive way was an issue.

Mix up on arrival was I had a booking for Kerry but a Jenny who made an enquiry for oct advised the dates that Kerry was staying was hers. They arrived early for check in, so was very confusing. But lovely people. The driveway is flat narrow and straight and can be a problem for people who have difficulty in reversing straight. Photo is clearly presented in property images.

Girl’s weekend.

Cottage was lovely. Clean and plenty of room/s for 3 people to share comfortably. Only issue was the driveway...it was very narrow and took a great deal of care to negotiate it. Our designated driver found it difficult and felt it might deter her from returning but overall it was a pleasant stay.

July 23rd stay.

The outside and garden area was disappointing. Messy garden, lots of weeds. Seating area, damp . Overhead drapes , mouldy . There were 4 of us staying at this residence, and only 1 key!! Should be 1 key per couple.

We always have very wet winters and not much can be done in the bottom garden during this time and outside seating area is undercover but not enclosed, so I can’t control the dampness if the hills climate. The draping fabric outside does get a bit mouldy and is replaced in spring. The point of communication Glenis is when I check in on you for you to let me know anything that’s not right for you so I can address. It’s seems that your happy to leave out what did work, which seems unfair.

Lovely location but interior needs some updating

A quaint cottage with a delightful garden. Kitchen needs renovation - cupboard doors don't fit, cracked mismatched china is a disgrace and would cost very little to replace. Bedrooms are small - only one has a chest of drawers and there are no wardrobes anywhere. Driveway is narrow and unsuitable for anything wider than a medium sedan.

I’m sorry that it did not suit you. All pictures on the site are accurate. There is 12 of everything new this year in the way of crockery, but are some older pieces suited to the era of the house, the corner cupboard does need a bit of a push sometimes to close but all others close nicely. I am set up for short term stays and to avoid crowding the rooms do not have wardrobes although I have coathangers on the back of all bedroom doors.chestadraws in two two of the bedrooms. I get my large 4WD easily into the driveway. I have never received a review about my home like this, most people love it. I provide beautiful linen, and was disappointed by the state the linen was left in badly soiled probably not redeemable.
