Nestled on a quiet cul-de-sac in Seabrook’s Mill District, The Goldfinch is the perfect retreat for families, couples, or friends looking to reconnect. The home comfortably sleeps 4 and offers a cozy, forested setting just steps from the famous Gnome Trail and a short stroll to the beach.

- Mill Park and the “Old Cedar Stump” are just around the corner from the home.
- Easy access to Seabrook’s shops, restaurants, playgrounds, and trails.

Outdoor Space
Enjoy your morning coffee on the large, covered back deck overlooking a preserved cedar forest, complete with Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. The terrace offers a BBQ grill, propane fire table, and additional seating.

Kitchen & Dining
The kitchen is fully stocked for everything to serve up a home cooked meal, with plenty of serving dishes and cookware. Gather around the dining table for meals or board games after a day at the beach.

Living Room
Relax on the large sofa, curl up with a good book by the fireplace, or watch a movie on a 43” Roku TV for your streaming services along with a DVD player. There is an assortment of DVD’s for viewing.

Sleeping Arrangements
Primary Bedroom (Upstairs): Queen bed, large windows with forest views, walk-in closet, and a 33” Roku TV w/ DVD player.
Twin Room (Upstairs): Two dark grey iron twin beds with pillowtop mattresses perfect for both adults and kids. A closet holds a basket of toys, games, pac-n-play, & booster seat.

Bathrooms
The home has a full bathroom upstairs, including a shower with a detachable shower head. The half bath is located downstairs next to the kitchen. These are fully stocked with soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, and towels.

Pet Friendly
Dogs are family too! The Goldfinch is happy to welcome your pups.

Beach, Play, & Fun
Beach toys, chairs, a football, basketball, pickleball paddles and balls are all provided for you. Additionally s’mores sticks are available for the propane fire table.

Laundry
The home has a full sized washer and dryer for use during your stay.

Parking
Off-street parking available for 2 vehicles.

We do not offer access to Seabrook's Pools/Gym and we will not charge a resort fee. Please book directly with Seabrook Rentals to utilize the swimming pools.

Such a great place! Perfectly situated with an easy walk to the town center, but backed up to a lovely forest area that makes it feel so peaceful and quiet. Very clean and well-stocked. Highly recommend and we hope to come back again some day!

Larissa was such a communicative host. We were able to ask any questions and get an answer easily. The property was delightful. Easy to get to all the little sites and shops. We would definitely stay in the Goldfinch property again soon.

The house was cute, comfortable, and clean. We really enjoyed our weekend there. The only thing keeping our review at 4 stars instead of 5 was the unexpected upfront additional charges for pet cleaning and insurance. I could not find this information mentioned in the listing, but we’re still glad we stayed there!

Thank you for staying with us and for the kind words about the home. I’m so glad you enjoyed your weekend. On VRBO, when a reservation is booked with a pet included, the platform automatically adds the pet fee into the total price shown before checkout. In this case, the reservation was initially made without a pet listed, so the pet fee was not included in the booking total and had to be added afterward once we were made aware a dog would be joining the stay. This is the only charge related to pets. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and are glad you had a great visit.

It was great to be able to have my dog - and the supplies for his stay were a nice touch. But, as a new listing, it was clear that the house was not ready for guests. I wanted to watch the Seahawks game, and the TV was locked down -- even to use apps that I subscribe to. It took hours for a response, at which point I had given up. I never did see if it worked, but it likely did not. The smoke alarms were beeping all night as if the batteries were low and the alarms were too high to replace the batteries myself. So, aside from the location, it was not a great or restful stay. I ended up leaving a day early and while I was offered a rebate for that night, I declined so I would not feel obligated to give a better review. Honestly, it was not at all relaxing. I have never had to reach out to the host/management company as much as this rental -- and I travel a lot and rent homes and condos all over the world. I'd recommend any renters check on access to programs, upkeep on basics and other "comfort" items before booking. If all you want is the location, it's great. If you want a relaxing stay, this is not the place.

Following your departure, the home was checked and all systems, including the smoke alarms and television, were functioning properly. Throughout your stay, I remained available and responsive to messages, and I’m always happy to help when questions come up. You also shared that your early departure was related to needing to return home for work, which I completely understand. We take guest feedback seriously and use it as an opportunity to review our processes and ensure everything is clear, well-maintained, and comfortable for future stays.
