Ce magnifique studio récemment rénové dispose d'une grande terrasse privée avec un hamac et une chaise longue et une table pour 4 personnes pour bronzer ou prendre votre café avant de vous diriger vers la plage et la piscine de front de mer.

C'est si vous sortez du lit king size confortable!

Plongez en apnée sur le récif, nagez dans la piscine ou détendez-vous simplement et lisez un livre sous le palapa le plus proche.

Vous êtes entouré de terrains bien entretenus et, bien sûr, vous êtes directement sur la magnifique plage avec le beach-volley à 16h tous les jours.

Un grand réfrigérateur et une kitchenette avec un four micro-ondes, une cafetière et un gril électrique pour préparer vos repas, si vous le souhaitez.

Il y a un excellent restaurant / bar à quelques pas de la plage ou de nombreux excellents restaurants à 5 minutes au nord d'Akumal Beach (où se trouvent les tortues) et plusieurs autres à Chemuyil, à 5 minutes au sud.

À quelques minutes de Tulum et ses célèbres ruines mayas au sud et Playa del Carmen au nord pour les grands magasins et la vie nocturne.

We had an incredible stay here. Steps from the ocean, coffee each morning on the balcony overlooking the beach. Could not recommend more highly!

If you visit in the middle of the summer, like we did, chances are you'll have the resort all to yourself. Quiet, secluded, a bit rustic, with unmatched views right from your bed. The resort is a bit run-down, with tiles missing in the pool, holes in the palapas, duct taped mattreses, little things like that. If that matters to you....If you have mobility issues, accessibility is only available to those ambulatory. The place requires nearly a mile of dirt road through the jungle to reach. Ideally, you should have a car. As I mentioned, secluded. No nightlife (in the summer).All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this place for those seeking what we did - a beautiful place with character, where one can enjoy the quiet and the beauty, while still having all the basic comfort. The AC in the room worked perfectly. All basic needs in the kitchen (like a blender for mango margaritas) are provided. Towels and a very comfortable bed.A great terrace for morning coffee, or afternoon exotic drinks, while overlooking the sea, the pool, and the mature palm trees, and a second, large terrace where you could have a party with friends.Joan was wonderful with any needs we had, and responded very quickly. We absolutely loved it here.

Relaxing with beautiful views!!

Very comfortable, great outdoor patio for morning coffee and dining and hanging out with awesome sunrises and ocean views. The pool and beach were steps away. Joan was very helpful in providing for our needs. There is 1 great little restaraunt a short walk but I would suggest having access to a car for groceries or other shopping or restaraunts or using a taxi service.

Beach location is perfect

We had a great time at Joan’s property! The location and outdoor patio is awesome. You’re steps from the beach and your outdoor space has a view of the Caribbean and you can watch the sunrise and sunset. The bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed. Joan even has a guidebook recommending activities and things to do in the areas. I highly recommend staying here.

Home Away From Home

A clean, comfy, safe place to stay. The owners are very friendly, and are there to help you. The king bed is comfortable, and the shower is great! The patio is spacious with a nice view to the ocean. The beach is full of soft white sand, and the best part is that it is not packed like in Akumal. Adventures Akumal is our new destination from now on!

Terrific spot right on the beach!

We had a great time in this apartment with its spacious patio and beautiful views of the beach. The sand is just steps away, as well as a very nice pool. The apartment had everything we needed, including beach towels and a toaster and coffee maker so that we could have breakfast on the patio. Also a big, very comfortable bed. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. All in all a wonderful stay!

This Place is AWESOME. Saw Turtle lay her eggs!

Greg's place is right on the beach and said beach is amazingly beautiful and he is a great host. The tiled terrace has lovely tropical plants and a breath taking view of the sea. We loved having our morning coffee out there and relaxing in the hammock or lounge chair. The pool is right there too if you prefer that but there was rarely anyone using it since most come to the beach for the ocean. The bed was super comfy and the place was very clean. Greg provided beach towels of course but we didn't expect that he also had beach bags, hats and snorkel gear for our use as well, which was great because I forgot a beach bag. The reef is very close and is about a 7 minute swim straight out so you don't have to take a boat or go in a group to go snorkeling. And the water is calm and clear. We saw rays and all manor of fish. The Oasis resort is right next door, actually Gregs condo is one of a few private condos within the resort so it is the best of both worlds. As Gregs guest we could opted to pay to eat at one of the 7 restaurants at the resorts for a reasonable price which included as many drinks as we wanted and even a show afterwards in the theatre which was a nice surprise. We tried the French restaurant and it was great and the service terrific. There is a great little beach bar a two minute walk down the sandy beach and a beach side massage tent a few minutes further. Heaven. But the best part of out trip, was that we were fortunate to see a sea turtle come up onto the shore in the middle of the night and lay her eggs. It was one of the reasons we picked this time of year and this beach because it has a hatchery and volunteers that patrol the beach at night who will let you know if a nesting is happening as long as you are respectful and quiet and don't use any white flashlights that could disturb the turtle. They have special red ones. We really had a magical tine and will certainly come back for a longer stay during the winter. Thanks Greg for all the little extra touches.

I chose Aventuras Akumal because it offers the perfect balance of natural beauty, tranquility, and convenience. Unlike some of the busier tourist areas, it feels peaceful and authentic, with a jungle lot next door, tropical birds, and the soothing sound of the ocean. I love that I can enjoy a quiet morning coffee on the terrace, yet still be just minutes from restaurants, snorkeling, cenotes, scuba diving, and all the attractions of the Riviera Maya.
It's the kind of place where you can truly relax, reconnect with nature, and experience the slower pace that makes Akumal so special.

One of the things that makes this area unique is the shape of the bay and its underwater topography, which often helps sargassum seaweed wash out more easily than in neighboring areas such as North Akumal and Half Moon Bay. While conditions vary throughout the Caribbean, guests are often pleasantly surprised by the beach and water quality here.
Another special feature is turtle season, from May through September. Akumal is world-famous for its sea turtles, and during these months visitors have the opportunity to snorkel with them in the bay and observe nesting activity on nearby beaches.

The neighborhood also combines beachfront living with a natural jungle setting, creating a unique environment where you can see tropical birds, butterflies, iguanas, and other wildlife—all while being just a short distance from the conveniences and activities of the Riviera Maya. It offers a quieter, more relaxed experience than many of the larger resort areas nearby.
