Bienvenue à The Governor's Collection - Anchor Point Apartments; un développement abordable de style condo situé dans le cœur animé de Governor's Harbour, Eleuthera. Le complexe se compose de deux bâtiments: l'un contient 2 appartements d'une chambre et deux appartements standard de deux chambres, tandis que l'autre contient 2 grandes suites d'appartements de deux chambres. Toutes les unités sont construites avec des balcons extérieurs couverts qui offrent une vue fantastique sur Anchor Bay.

Nous sommes situés dans un emplacement privilégié pour explorer le centre d'Eleuthera. Nous sommes à un pâté de maisons de la bibliothèque historique de Haynes et à moins d'un quart de mile de Cupid's Cay, domicile des Eleutheran Adventurers, et du site du premier Parlement des Bahamas en 1746.

Anchor Point est à distance de marche des supermarchés locaux, des banques (2 avec des distributeurs automatiques de billets), des cafés, des boutiques de cadeaux et plus encore - Mais, si vous voulez vraiment explorer l'île, il est préférable de louer une voiture. Il y a d'innombrables plages isolées qui parcourent toute la longueur de l'île, n'attendant que d'être explorées!

Pour une journée amusante sur la pêche en mer, nous serons plus qu'heureux de vous aider à organiser la location d'un bateau pour la journée ou l'organisation d'une charte, avec votre propre capitaine. Des planches à pagaie, des kayaks et des jet-skis sont également disponibles à la location, ainsi que du matériel de plongée et de plongée en apnée. Vous pouvez également faire une excursion d'une journée pour visiter The Swimming Pigs of Spanish Wells - une excursion d'une journée relativement nouvelle, mais très populaire!

Le vendredi soir, les alevins de poisson d'Anchor Bay offrent une vie nocturne animée aux Bahamas, à quelques pas des appartements. Ici, vous pourrez déguster des plats des Bahamas préparés localement, y compris de la salade de conques, du poisson frit, du poulet grillé, des macaronis et du fromage et des pois et du riz. Mêlez-vous à des habitants chaleureux, à des résidents hivernaux qui visitent l'île chaque année pendant plusieurs mois à la fois ou à des touristes à la recherche d'une soirée amusante - il y a un DJ en direct, des bières locales et des cocktails en vente, des concours de limbes et des danses dans la rue jusqu'à tard !

Great location

Great location to take in all of Governor’s Harbour restaurants and shops! Comfortable, well equipped apartment with beautiful sunset views. Highly recommend!

Perfect location

This property is located in the middle of Governor's Harbour with a perfect view of the harbor by the the boat ramp. The unit we stayed in was very modern and clean and had everything you could need. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had a great visit. The place is very comfortable and Dom was so nice. He met us there and made sure we were aware of everything and comfortable! Loved our stay. Neighbors in other apartments were a little noisy but everyone is on vacation. Great place. We would come here again.

Great time at a great place!

Everything went smoothly in our Eleuthera rental. Communication was good and Dom the host met us at the house to answer any questions we had. It was nicely decorated and had everything you need to have a nice vacation. Plenty of parking, great view, walking distance to everything . We bought fish from a local guy and had whole snapper on the electric grill. It also had a w/d if you need it.

“Home away”

Second visit and did not disappoint. We really do feel at home at Anchor Point apartments, Everything you need is to be found there, and if not you are in walking distance to pick up light groceries. A car is really needed if you want to explore Eleuthera with its amazing beaches and it’s beautiful people. Joy and Dom always a phone call away should you need assistances, and we appreciate that. Do not hesitate to stay here.

We are without words. Dom & Joy are excellent hosts and exceptional property managers-attentive, personal, professional. Starting with quick responses to our questions prior to arriving, a personal welcome, and a comprehensive welcome binder with everything you can think of all the way to accommodating our departure time-is only the beginning. We want to tell everyone of this beautifully centrally located property but then we are torn to keep it a secret! The island offers so many things to do, great food, great beaches, great history and the best BBQ ribs across from Ronnies on Friday and Saturdays. A beautiful slow down to discover. See you very soon….

Home at Anchor Point apartments

We were happy to call the apartment home for seven nights. Clean and spotless with high end fixtures and fittings. Bed comfortable with nice linen. Bath towels and towels for the beach good quality. Thought has been put into the decor of the apartment. Everything at hand to make your stay enjoyable. Apartment central in Governors harbour to walk to have coffee or an evening meal. Shopping easily accessible also, although a car would be needed to make the grocery shopping more pleasant of an experience. You will never tire of the view either - plenty to see and watch from the patio. Overall we would not hesitate to recommend the apartments. When we come back to Eleuthera we would want to call Anchor Point apartments home once again.

The house was perfect for me, the neighbors were all friendly. Matty made me feel safe as he keeps his eye on the place since his business is there. Had a hard time leaving, cannot wait to come back.

anchor point was fine as for the rest of the island it needs a lot of work. very disapointed wit the condition of the island probely due to the recent hurricanes they have had.

While I pleased that you were happy with your accommodations, I am saddened to hear that you were disappointed with your visit to Eleuthera. Our island is made up of rural settlements, stunning beaches, crystal clear waters, and many areas of untouched natural beauty - which is exactly what draws so many visitors to Eleuthera each year. We were very fortunate to not be scathed by Hurricane Dorian in 2019, unlike our the islands of Abaco and Grand Bahama to our north. Eleuthera is not 'built-up' (i.e. you will not find mega resorts, flashy casinos, designer shopping malls, or large nightclubs here) but we offer a more laid-back & relaxing guest experience while still affording modern conveniences for our guests such as complimentary Wi-Fi, smart TVs with Cable and Netflix accessibility, washers/dryers in all units, and everything you need for a great day out at the beach (umbrella, chairs, and soft sided cooler). We find that a break from everyday chaos is just what the doctor ordered for many and that most visitors leave the island with a renewed spirit and the richness of experience. Thank you again for your feedback. We appreciate that your family selected to stay with us!

Amazing Apartment

At first when I was booking this property, I read all the past guest’s comments. I was surprised of what everyone wrote about Joy and Dom. Joy and Dom went beyond for us. When we went to Eleuthera the island was in a lock down for that weekend. Joy/Dom offered to go grocery shopping for us since EVERYTHING was closed that weekend. Thank God we ended up going to Harbor Island for the weekend (Joy and Dom suggested to do). The apartment is absolutely beautiful and everything was new. The apartment is decorated from Ikea (my favorite store). The apartment had beach chairs, towels and a cooler which we took with us everyday to the beach. The apartment has a white binder with info about the island (helped us tremendously). We also met Kathy (the owner of the apartment), she spotted us at beach with her cooler (LOL). Overall, Joy and Dom are amazing. Cant wait to go back 😊

Wonderful, relaxing vacation

My husband and I decided on Governors Harbor for our vacation due to its central location on the island along with a few restaurants and shops. First off, the rental is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is fully stocked for all of your kitchen needs. We enjoy cooking ( even on vacation!) and were pleased to find everything we needed to make some of our meals in. All the pots and pans, knives, cutting board, microplane, etc. There is a fish "market" right across the street that is really just a dock but were able to buy fresh caught snapper filets one night and make a delicious dinner in. The bed was very comfortable, as were the couches in the living room ( we may or may not have fallen asleep on them at the end of each day!) Upon our arrival, Dom met us at the property and showed us everything we needed. There was even a loaf of fresh coconut bread from a local bakery (which made excellent french toast the next day!) waiting for us along with souvenirs from a local shop. A few beers and welcome water, the hosts really went above and beyond to make our stay feel as comfortable as possible. The inclusion of the beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and floats were more useful than we ever thought. It was so nice to load those up each morning in our rental car, and setup on the beach with more than just a towel. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Joy and Dom. The rental guide they have in the unit is basically your key map during your stay which listed numerous restaurants, menus, beaches, directions, tips, etc. One day we got a little lost trying to find french leave beach and Dom was a quick phone call away to assist us. Alabaster bay was our absolute favorite, a recommendation by Dom and their rental guide, for the most pristine, calm, clear, Caribbean waters. We went to Tippys a few nights for great beach bar views and pizza! I will caution you that the island has a lot of bugs, its just a part of life there! There a sugar ants just about anywhere you go and we did have some in our unit who were clearly looking for the syrup, candy, etc! However, Dom came over right away and laid down something to take care of them which worked! Not a reflection on the cleanliness of the unit at all, just part of life on the island! Needless to say my husband and I are already planning our trip back and cant wait to rent from Joy and Dom again. They truly helped make our experience as relaxing and welcoming as possible!

Great little spot in paradise!

The property managers, Joy and Dom, were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is perfectly located right in the heart of Governor’s Harbour. It’s got everything you need for a short stay and feels new, clean, fresh and modern. We’ll definitely stay again when we return to Eleuthera.

Good central location

We had a great stay in Governors Harbour. Joy and Dom met us on arrival and gave us all the details and answered any questions we had. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be in town. It was clean and comfortable. We didn’t rent this place for the view it was for the location so we could adventure to both ends of the island.

Amazing condo with a beautiful view!

My fiance and I had a wonderful time staying at this condo! Prior to our arrival, Joy provided a list of recommended restaurants, activities, and local attractions to help us plan our trip, which was greatly appreciated. Joy and Dominic were great to communicate with and checked in with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed and were enjoying ourselves. The condo was beautiful and appears, in person, just like the photos online. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the necessities so that we could cook meals when we wanted to. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom had plenty of closet space for us to unpack our suitcases. The best part about the condo was the view and the location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this rental!

Absolutely stunning

We stayed there for 4 nights and loved it! Joy and Dom were fantastic and so accommodating. We were looking for a wedding venue and they showed us various properties; we loved them all. We were there during the junkanoo festival, which was within walking distance. It was great to experience the culture of the Eleuthera only a short walk from where we stayed. The views of the Caribbean were gorgeous. We explored several of the beaches that Joy and Dom recommended and utilized their welcome binder to navigate other areas of the island to explore. We can't wait to return!
