I enjoyed my stay in the Berger's studio in the Winter of 2026. Hosts Martha and Jean Claude are friendly and accommodating. The studio is situated in a lovely, quiet, upscale foothills neighborhood. The more I stayed here, the more I noticed the Bergers' beautiful landscaping, which features a wide variety of cacti. During my stay, there was an extensive gem show in Tucson. Some highlights included the 49-acre Tohono Chul Gardens and the petroglyphs at the Redemptorist Renewal Center in Tucson. About a mile away is the Rillito Arroyo Park walking and biking trail, which hosts a large farmers' market every Sunday! I enjoyed walking a section of the expansive trail in the glorious Tucson sunshine daily.

I enjoyed my 2 week stay. The space is perfect for an individual who needs to work while on vacation. Comfortable bed, excellent internet connection and close to dining and outdoor activities.

My Wonderful Stay with Jean-Claude and Martha

I was welcomed on arrival by Martha and immediately felt at home. Their place is incredible with views of Mt Lemmon and Tuscon.My first longer term stay left me living the area and even looking at buying my own place here.

Lovely, convenient, comfortable

comfortable and quiet with everything i could possibly need. Hosts were so obliging and always available. A little tricky to find at first, but hosts are available and quite attentive when help is needed. Absolutely a 5 star stay !

Tiny Jewel

Exquisite, tiny jewel on a hill top. Loved the view, loved the hosts. Very comfortable but small space, with a desk, nice closet, kitchen. Finding it is a little tricky. There are lots of similar driveways all in a row. Look for the sign that says "Begin Right Turn Lane (arrow) Yeild to Bikes." The driveway is IMMEDIATELY after the sign. Highly recommend for single travelers.

Perfect space for my work trip!

Such a great, simple, clean space, perfect for one. I was in town for work and had no time to spend much time with the host family and it was such a shame because they were a lovely couple. Great location near the mall, dining, ECT but you would never know because the place is up on a hill, so nice and quiet and beautiful view. I will be back again if possible!

What a treasure I found upon staying! Affordable, comfortable, and such beautiful spaces.

I was on a virtual retreat during my week’s stay and this property was the perfect getaway with amazing outdoor views. Jean Claude and Martha were the perfect guests and truly made my stay exceptional. I even received an amazing massage!

Saguaro gem!

I was in the area for a long term work assignment and wanted someplace quiet and relaxing. This was an amazing place. Martha and Jean Claude are wonderful! It’s so easy to get anywhere in town, but yet tucked away in such a beautiful location, surrounded by Saguaro cactus and amazing views!
