From start to finish, our stay this weekend was fantastic. It was very close to the event we were attending. The check-in process was painless and the home was very comfortable. I’ll definitely be planning more stays here in the future.

Excellent location for visiting Castroville and having a quiet, peaceful place to relax at. The house was clean and comfortable. We will definitely book again if we’re ever back in the area.

My stay at this cabin was GREAT! First off, the owner text and called me just to be certain I had all the necessary information regarding the property. Check in was very smooth, zero issues, and check out was the same. I wasn’t aware before but this cabin is located on a ranch/farm property. We got to listen to, not at all in an annoying way but a very nice way, the cows and donkeys moving around. SO GREAT! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see them but that’s not at all a knock on the property. It was secluded in a way that we didn’t need to worry about bothering neighbors, but still close enough to civilization that we didn’t feel like we were in the middle of nowhere. It was also about 10 min from paradise canyon, where the rest of my family was, which was so very convenient as well. Bottom line the property was amazing and convenient and I would definitely stay here again

Most things were readily available and there is a Superstore nearby for anything you might have forgotten. The setting is a peaceful getaway from city life. It was very nice to get our teenagers away from their WiFi/gaming addiction which actually got them to interact with the family!!

Love the home! So cute and rustic. Host was very nice and responsive. I have 2 boys so they loved that it was secluded and had plenty of room for them to throw a football around. Plenty of parking as well.

The host was excellent with communication. However, for seniors I do not recommend. Having to get in and out of the property was too much, we got caught in a thunderstorm trying to get through the gate. A metal gate and lightning getting soaked was not pleasant.

Great stay! Waking up in the morning and having the cattle there made the experience that much more! At night you can see the stars, hear crickets chirp and see a firefly or two. Great getaway!
