The home was very spacious. We came to Texas with my elderly parents for a visit with our children who live in Wylie and Farmersville. The location was perfect. It is out in the country. We loved seeing the longhorns. We had everything we needed and more. The host was very responsive to all of our questions as well. We would definitely book again.

Perfect

I have never visited a place completely stocked, but this place has everything. You don't have to run to the store for anything but food. The long horns are a special treat, and the host are GREAT! Oh, the shower, very nice!!

Little yellow farmhouse

My family and I had a great stay at the little yellow farmhouse. Property was clean and well-maintained. Owners were nice and made the check-in process very easy. I’ll recommend this property to my friends and family.

Clean and quiet

Spent 2 quiet, peaceful nights. Immaculately clean. Kitchen well stocked with everything you could need. Host answered all questions quickly. Would stay here again.

Wonderful accommodations

fun, unique decor with wonderful views of Longhorns in the pasture. Very comfortable beds, however they were quite high. Loved our stay here and would definitely book again.

Cute house- but spiders...

We travel a lot, so we stay at rental company properties a lot. This property was not close to anything and was very secluded. Very roomy and open with great amenities. However, while unloading and later getting settled in, we saw and killed six spiders in two hours. Our dog was playing with one before we realized why he was having such a great time. We did not want to wait for a pest company to come out and spray - we didn't know what they would spray around our dog. We had no idea what kind of spiders they were and didn't want to wait and find out. Under the garage where we parked there were several huge spider webs with spiders and I walked through one without realizing what the heck until it was done. Needless to say, we packed up at 10 PM the first night we arrived and left, and messaged the owners to let them know we were leaving because of the spider problem. This was the day before Thanksgiving day and were luckily able to find a pet friendly hotel at literally the last minute in McKinney. The owners apologized but offered no compensation for the fact that we were unable to stay for the duration of our booking due to the spider problem.

Great place to stay for the weekend. Mckinney Texas close for a days getaway. Very clean and interesting experience with the longhorns right outside your window.

WONDERFUL!!!!!

We 100% enjoyed our stay in this FANTASTIC HOME!! Yes, this is a HOME AWAY FROM HOME!! Perfect in EVERY WAY! The owners are so very nice and accommodating in every way - from friendly conversation to helping with meal suggestions and directions. It is also PERFECT for families traveling with Fido (: We 1000% recommend this rental and will FOR SURE visit again when we travel to the area again. Pls if your travel plans include this area rent this home - you will LOVE IT!!!

Wonderful property and friendly hosts!

We had a great stay! The house was clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and there were many thoughtful items for long-term stays. The wi-fi was reliable and there was space set up to comfortably work from home. Our dogs were comfortable as well. Best of all were our friendly hosts—Jo and Dagmar, and of course the longhorns!

This is a great place, the house is amazing inside, Dagmar and Joe were so nice and made sure you had everything you need. Nice fence in yard for pets if needed. Will stay again!

Awesome Family Weekend

Came for a wedding. This place is AWESOME! Had a wedding in Leonard just up the road and it was easy to get there and this place is amazing. If you are looking to relax, enjoy quiet time, and just chill, this is perfect. The longhorns on the property just add to the vibe. Owners are awesome and the house is spotless. Great TV and Wifi if that is important. But man is it quiet and relaxing!!!!

Perfect for our home away from home.

This sweet country home was perfect for us. All our needs were meet. Comfortable bed, furniture. All the necessary appliances and cooking needs. A lovely country home with a fenced dog yard. And to top it all off Dagmar and Joe were the best of host and hostess - available if needed. Thank you! Hope to return.

Lovely Cabin

We had a perfect weekend stay in this wonderful cabin. The property owners were very accommodating and friendly. It was wonderful to watch the Longhorns from the window or the yard. The cabin had everything we needed including a fun board game for our Saturday night. It is just a few minutes from cute and quaint downtown Farmersville with great spots to eat, but still far enough that you truly felt the peacefulness of the country. We hope to return again for longer next year. Thank you Dagmar and Jo for the wonderful stay!!

Amazing place and people

This was a fantastic stay. The house is gorgeous and immaculate. There is obvious meticulous care and attention to detail in every aspect of the home. The owners are exceptional, very welcoming, very concerned about guests having a good stay, very helpful and very kind. I cannot say enough good things about them and the home. This is most definitely a special place, made even moreso by the gracious hosts. Will recommend to anyone and everyone. If we ever travel to the area again, will definitely stay again.
