Heaven in the Hampton Bays

Carole was as a very accommodating host. Property was immaculate and the perfect size for 4 adults and 2 kids (6 and 8). Outside was great. Everyone could find a place alone or enjoy family time Together. Loved pool. Outside shower a big hit for everyone. Top notch fixtures and finishes and furnishings. We felt at home!

Family vacation in East Quogue

We had a wonderful 11 days at this house. It is a perfect setting for a family vacation. The house is beautiful - it was plenty of space for our family of 6. The master bedroom is very spacious, and all of the bedrooms are comfortably sized. Very pretty common/living/dining area with plenty of room for eating meals and relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, serving, etc. The pool area and back yard are just amazing - really great outdoor kitchen (I wish we found time for the pizza oven!), ping pong, foosball, plenty of seating and of course the pool which is fantastic. Location is great - easy drive to beaches and restaurants. And Carole is a terrific host - communicative right from the start, provided clear and helpful instructions, responded promptly to questions and was just generally lovely to deal with. We were all very sad to leave!

Fabulous!

We had an amazing stay at Carole's home. Carole was great, very responsive and helpful. The property was even nicer than the pictures, lots of room and very comfortable. The kitchen was far better appointed than typical rentals, the pool was delightful, and the outdoor kitchen incredible! We will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

Very relaxing time in an amazing house!

There was plenty of room for our entire family! The deck area and pool is truly incredible! The owner was responsive with any and all questions. The beach was close and chairs were available in the house for us to use. There are a few minor things to note. The deck railing is wood so both of my niece's six year old twins got multiple splinters and I would caution children from touching it. There is a huge step to get outside from the kitchen area and if you have elderly relatives it is not safe without supervising them going in and out of the house. Overall we are very grateful to Carole and we appreciate her lovely home.

Wonderful summer vacation

We had a wonderful week here, and Carole was a thoughtful host. The house is terrific for families - lots of well designed communal spaces, a terrific pool our children loved, and great proximity to a beautiful beach and walks. Our thanks for the lovely stay.

Family friendly

The host responded at timely manners. House missing a few cleaning spots, notified the owner and he was willing to send a cleaner over. The pool is awesome and my boys enjoyed a lot. The neighborhood is nice, not much cars, and able to ride bikes. Perfect place for family gatherings.

The backyard is the star

The house is situated on a quiet, tree-lined block in a lovely neighborhood. The house is spacious, clean and has a beachy/rustic decor. While there are a couple of drawbacks to the house especially evident during the summer months (one of the bedrooms doesn't have A/C nor does the kitchen which can get quite hot), it is perfectly suitable. The real story with this property is the backyard. There's a beautiful deck with a seating area, heat lamp, fire pit, grill, large shaded table, and foosball table. The pool is warm and inviting, with lounge chairs and a couch, as well as a ping pong table and hammock. There is a lovely outdoor shower and kitchen with a pizza oven (the kitchen wasn't quite yet ready for our stay but will be amazing once it is). Additionally, there's a vegetable and herb garden as well as beautiful landscaping that creates a very relaxing feeling. There are bikes available for use, as well as corn hole and darts for those in need of more entertainment. There is no shortage of ways to occupy oneself at this property. Corresponding with Carole was a pleasure- she was responsive and helpful with any questions that arose. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Charming home, perfect getaway

This house was exactly as described and it was the perfect family getaway. It is clean, well-located on a quiet street and plenty to enjoy for the kids and grown-ups including a lovely pool, big yard and ping pong table. Carole was a great host; clear communication and prompt response to the questions that came up. We were so sad to leave. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Perfect!

The house was perfect and everything said about it was true but the real story was Carole. I had only 3 days to find a house for my nephews family who were coming to NY from London for his memorial as he passed on his 45th birthday just 4 weeks prior. The house was initially unavailable, but Carole reading what had happened to my nephew and while out of the country, made some adjustments and the house became available. She is super easy to communicate with and the house was perfect! Thank you Carole, you are a wonderful person!!!

Great Rental Property

Beautiful house with an amazing pool. The pool is not heated but the water temp was comfortable. We enjoyed the private deck and the large backyard. The neighborhood is peaceful and very quiet. We were there the 4th of July week and there weren’t any loud or rowdy people. Close to the beach and town. The owner was easy and accommodating. Great rental! We will definitely return!

Hampton family getaway

We rented this house for a week with my extended family (6 adults, 4 children and an infant) It's a very lovely home (Clean and modern). The kids just enjoyed splashing around in the pool, running around the yard and played in the playroom downstairs. The pool was great, but it has a small shallow area where the kids were mostly because they don't really know how to swim well and it dips quickly into the deep area. We had enough adults in the water with them to watch them so it wasn't too big of an issue. The owner was very polite and accommodating. I had to contact her regarding the broken oven and she responded very quickly. She was able to get us a microwave (even though she doesn't generally use one) because the new oven wouldn't get there in time, but that was just fine for us since we mostly grilled and I really only needed it to warm up the bottle for my infant and quick things for the kids. We did go to the beach one day, but the kids were fine with the pool. I would definitely recommend this home away from home if your looking for a quiet time away to relax and be close to the Hamptons.

Perfect Rental

I rented this house for a week with my girlfriends. It had everything that we needed. It has a pool, its close to the beach, a relaxing patio, the interior is super clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a calm week this is the house. Cant wait to rent it again next summer.

Home away from home!

Perfect rental for a group of friends, a girls trip, or a large family. I rented with my parents, siblings and their children for a week in May 2016 and it was the most perfect vacation. The kids splashed in the pool, we went to the beach, and we cooked and sat on the patio drinking wine at night. The house is super clean, comfortable and on a quiet street. It was truly a home away from home and we had everything we needed.

Great getaway

My family rented the house last summer and plan on renting it again. It's quite charming & comfortable with an abundance of room for a large 6 person family. The house was well equipped with everything we needed to stay comfortably. The house was located near the Shinnecock bay so easy access to the water and activities. The neighborhood is super quiet and close to the village with one exquisite deli. There are beaches 7 miles away only. Loved it and looking forward to getting to go back.
