Self-contained 1 double bedroom annex in Crewkerne
Newly-refurbished, self-contained cosy space for one or two people (small dogs also welcome).
Great location! Half an hour from the south coast and ten minutes from the A303 - if you are headed south west! (or North East?) Close to beautiful Somerset countryside, and around 5 minutes walk from the centre of Crewkerne - a lovely old town with various pubs/cafes and antique, boutique and charity shops to browse as well as a couple of supermarkets, and a leisure centre with a swimming pool.
This listing is a newly refurbished annex at the front of my late-Victorian detached house.
The annex is fully self-contained with its own entrance door and porch area with a bench (for enjoying afternoon sunshine!), an entrance hall with storage including a wardrobe, and an ironing board and iron in the understair storage area; and the following rooms:
• A compact but fully equipped kitchen / dining / living room - with a dining table and two chairs, and a two seater sofa. The kitchen area includes an electric cooker with four-ring hob, main oven and separate grill; fridge-freezer and a washing machine**.
• An upstairs bedroom with double bed and one bedside cabinet- note that the bed is against a wall on one side so can only be accessed from one side (or the end possibly). Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a chest of drawers. There is a TV here plugged into an aerial point for the basic Freeview channels.
• A toilet and very spacious wet-room with electric shower (ground floor).
Central heating is controlled by a room thermostat, with radiators in the bedroom, shower room, kitchen and hallway.
**There is a fold out airer if you do do any washing while you stay - it can be placed in the hall.
The annex is all yours during your stay! as is the porch.
You can park in my driveway - usually in front of my car, so at times I may need to ask you to let me out, but most days I do not use it so this shouldn't be too often if at all.
I shall leave details of the wi-fi for you to find when you arrive.
