Escape to this superb tranquillo studio in the authentic Tico village of Guadalupe, just 6 Km away from the Los Patos Outpost of Corcovado national park, and 4 km from Playa Blanca, the gateway to exploration of the picturesque tropical fiord. This wonderful sanctuary offers a cozy bedroom with AC, hot shower, and fast wifi. It is truly perfect for guests looking for a tranquil getaway with modern comforts. The outdoor kitchen is equip with all you need to make your meals during your stay, complete with sofa and hammock for relaxing and enjoying the birds or Titi monkeys whom make their visit of the property daily. For an additional fee you can also request a yoga and meditation class, Ayurvedic massage, Sauna use and or Ayurvedic cooking class. The temple space is open to those who would like to practice yoga and or meditation in their own time as well, mats are provided. feel free to make use of the yoga shala space during your stay, mats provided.

Originally from Northern California I found my way to Costa Rica during the pandemic while driving my camper van through Central America. Having lived in Panama as a Peace corps volunteer for 27+ months with out electricity, cell service or running water I really leaned the magic of living simply. I found this incredible home and have enjoyed sharing it with nature lovers from all over the world.

I work in the wellness sphere, and my dream is to have a beautiful wellness center where people can come to experience integrated living within themselves and with nature. I have studied Ayurveda for over 15 years and am an Ayurvedic health counselor, yoga teacher and chef. I help people find balance through understanding their own unique balance of the elements within. I offer consultations, Ayurvedic massage, Ayurvedic cooking classes as well as yoga classes. All of these can be arranged, with notice, for your stay at Rooted in Love.

I am on the outskirts of a beautiful traditional simple Costa Rican village, often where you can find people playing soccer in the town center in the evenings and on the weekends. Despite being so close to the authentic Costa Rican town, I am also immersed in nature. Within the over 1 acre of trails on the property you can find yourself observing untouched nature. The land was reforested with the endangered TiTi monkeys in mind so they come by for a daily snack 1 if not 2x a day. Also spotted here are many species of birds which people come from all over the world to experience.
