Mudgee short break

It was lovely to get away and relax with friends. The atmosphere allowed us to decompress quickly which is just what we needed. A lovely property and a great weekend.

Luxury Farm Stay nr Mudgee

Lovely property and idyllic small farm only 20 minutes from Mudgee. Beds were snug and comfy, kitchen with everything we needed. Loved the breakfast pack. The shower downstairs splashes out - probably needs a curtain but lots of heat and pressure. Wifi was out for our stay but have found this a common problem on farm properties. All in all, a lovely hostess and property to come back to after a day exploring the historic towns and excellent restaurants in the region (can highly recommend The Barn at Blue Wren Winery).

great stay in Mudgee

Short stay with family from overseas...stunning property, beautiful grounds and great location all made for a fabulous time. Visited Martins Hill winery for a personal tour and tasting and Oakshade Truffle Farm...another standout place to visit . Will definately be back to all 3 Highly recommend!

Superb

The property was exactly as we had expected or maybe even a little more lovely. Helena was over the top helpful and responsive. Nothing was left to chance and nothing was too much trouble. It was the best way to spend a cycling weekend.

A beautiful property with beautiful furnishings. We did not want for anything. So quiet and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this property for a small group.

PERFECT RURAL ESCAPE

Terrific! We had a wonderful time relaxing in a professionally decorated cottage in a beautiful rural environment close to Mudgee and it's many vineyards. The only drawback/advantage of being just a few minutes drive out of town was the absence of reliable internet and mobile telephone services. But hey, this proved to be a definite plus! We will definitely be back! Graham & Maz Helena and Ned were great hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Riverside Country Cottage

We were thrilled with everything about Riverlea Stables. Our 4 year old was delighted by the welcoming party of farm animals who greeted us on arrival. Jaffa,the pony, Alpacas, chickens, and farm dog, Toto, will be remembered for years to come. The cottage was very pretty and comfortable with an easy walk to a beautiful country stream. The owners were very helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome and at home from the start. Overall a blissful, country escape.

Lovely accommodation. Relaxing for adults. Fun for kids. Beautifully put together.

We were a family and grandparents. Accommodation was perfect. Clean, luxurious and more spacious than it looks online. Everyone had the space they needed. Kids loved the farm, animals and kayaking in the river.

Riverlea Stables has been a special project for me! It’s taken 2 years to complete but everything has been carefully planned to ensure guests have the comfort and luxuries they deserve! The building was an original stables and I thought very unique to convert into guest accomodation! The Stables offers guests king sized bedrooms with their own ensuite to allow privacy and luxury! Every area in the building has been furnished with love and care. Riverlea Stables is certainly a special place.....
