Whistler Blackcomb Condo Ski-In / Ski-Out Grand Penthouse

Le condominium Powderhorn n'est qu'à quelques pas de la montagne Blackcomb et est un emplacement de ski parfait dans le quartier Benchlands de Whistler. Cette unité de 3 chambres et 3 salles de bains est la plus grande du complexe avec plus de 1 500 pieds carrés. En entrant dans l'unité, il y a un foyer double face de 25 pieds de haut séparant le salon et la salle à manger pouvant accueillir confortablement 8 personnes.

Il dispose de 2 chambres (1 lit king, 1 lit queen) et d'un grand loft (1 jeu de lits superposés simples et 1 lit simple) pour accueillir confortablement 7 personnes (8 si vous utilisez le lit queen dans le salon).

Le salon, la salle à manger et la chambre principale ont des plafonds voûtés spectaculaires avec une vue fantastique sur les montagnes. La salle de bain principale attenante a une grande baignoire jacuzzi, deux lavabos et une douche surdimensionnée.

L'unité a une cuisine entièrement équipée, foyer au gaz double face dans le salon et la salle à manger, 3 téléviseurs à écran plat, chaîne stéréo, lecteur DVD et films, Internet sans fil, laveuse et sécheuse dans l'unité et une terrasse en bois à l'avant avec un barbecue à gaz .

Le loft a une porte d'accès à l'extérieur et le bain à remous extérieur commun sur le toit avec sa vue incroyable.

Ski-in / Ski-out est simplement en face de l'Assistant
Sentier qui mène à la course Wizard sur Blackcomb Mountain. La navette gratuite pour Whistler Village s'arrête juste à l'extérieur du complexe, mais si vous préférez marcher, il faut moins de 10 minutes sur la route des restaurants et de la vie nocturne de Whistler Village.

L'unité dispose de 2 places de parking souterrain sécurisé, de places visiteurs souterraines et d'un stockage sécurisé pour votre équipement de ski.

Nous vivons dans l'unité pendant une partie de l'année, nous avons donc essayé de l'équiper de tout le confort de la maison!

Great Ski in/ski out location

The property is in a great location. It is just a short walk to ski down the mountain. The host was very responsive. The condo was kept very clean and was very spacious.

Great space for family and friends!

Wonderful rental. We stayed for a week of skiing with 5 adults and 2 kids. The location is a short stroll to the ski run, as well as an easy walk to the upper village fun. We truly appreciated the VERY well stocked kitchen since we had most meals in the condo. We have already decided we will return as soon as we can! Thank you to the great hosts!

Great ski trip

Well appointed place with a great amount of space. Had no issues reserving hot tub time. Proximity to the free bus stops and a good number of reserved parking spots made getting around town a breeze. Only wish it was more of a true ski in/out, but you'd be hard pressed to find a place that offered this much while still being so close. The key based access to the building and storage cage could be a little awkward if group members are in and out at different times.

Good stay. There was some communication issues about checkout. Owner told me 10am but email from vrbo said 11am. Good location but I think there was mention of ski-in-ski out. It’s not. You can ski close but still need to cross the street, but there is a bus. There was also mold in the master bath jacuzzi when the bubbles were turned on…a lot.

1st Vrbo Whistler trip

Nice unit. High ceilings. Well equipped kitchen. Need more light in the living room to be able to do the puzzles. Loft single and bunk bed mattresses probably need to be replaced. Couches cause you to sink into them and need better support. Key lock for garage has a grate directly below which is a bad thing if you drop the key

Unfortunately the lock box is common property so we cannot immediately change this....will bring it up to WRM, our management company, at the next condo board meeting. Perfect for 2 couples or families with kids

Nearly direct access to hot tub (step out of loft doors + plus maybe 12 steps). Amazing master bedroom. Fully stocked kitchen. Great dining area and entertainment area. Super close to bus stop and to slopes (maybe a 5 to 7 minute walk). All in all, I'd go back to this exact condo again.

Great property in a great location - a short shuttle bus ride from both Blackcombe and Whistler village. Property manager was very helpful organising our lift tickets and equipment hire. Unit was as advertised.

Great balance of space and ski access

This unit is well stocked with kitchen equipment, well appointed with great natural lighting, and is a great cozy spot to call home while on your ski vacation! The ski slopes are about a 100m walk across the street -- we were originally apprehensive about not having true ski-in/ski-out, but after being able to compare the space and privacy to units in the complex immediately abutting the slopes, we were quite happy with increased spaciousness and privacy this compromise affords!

Perfect! Spacious, comfortable, and exactly everything we needed!

Can not thank Jane and Greg enough! We had some issues with our payment clearing and they held the property for us without any additional hassle or cost. Lets get to the property review. The property is as spacious as it looks and very comfortable for our group. We really felt right at home. Washer and dryer on premises, TV had HDMI so we could hook up our Nintendo Switch, kitchen had everything we needed for our home-cooked meals when we weren't eating out. Unfortunately, the Jacuzzi was not working for our stay so that was a bummer. In terms of location, what can I saw...it is amazing. It is just a short walk to the base of Blackcomb. We did manage to ski back all the way to the lodge on one occasion, but we did have to get creative. Otherwise it is no more then a 5-10 minute walk in ski gear. Additionally, in terms of walking, being this close to Blackcomb means you have a great lit path leads all the way to Whistler Village so you are never too far from a proper apres ski or the night life for that matter. We walked twice to the village in our week stay and we even had a truck! But there simply was no reason, it is not too far, the snow and lights are beautiful! Jane and Greg, thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us! We would definitely come again if/when we make it back to Whistler!

Perfect condo for our group

Condo was very spacious and perfect for our group of 6+ our 1 year old. Only complaint was the cable. The last two days of our stay it would lose connection every 1-2 minutes. We would have to flip down a channel and then back up to restore the signal. This normally would not have been an issue, but we were there during the Alabama-Oklahoma semi final game, and we are big Alabama fans. Unfortunately, we had to keep the remote in hand and flip channels back and forth every minute or so for the entire game. Not sure if this was weather related or just an issue that they have on the mountain. We tried to reboot the cable box a few times but this did not help. Everything else was great and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place to stay

This was such a beautiful unit and a perfect place to spend Christmas with our family. It was so fully stocked we couldnt believe it! It was only a short walk to the ski in/out trail. We would definitely come again!

This condo is in a great location. The bus stop is just outside. Getting to the slopes and back is just a short walk across the street, with a little poling. The kitchen is very well equipped. We were a group of six and had plenty of space. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful home

We just spent the week between Christmas and New Years in Whistler....our stay was complete with family, great snow, and all the comforts of home. This vacation rental has EVERYTHING you need....I always bring many of my own kitchen tools as most places lack, but here, they even had mini muffin pans!! All the equipment is in excellent shape, the beds comfy, nice linens, plenty of space....it was one of the better places I have rented through VRBO. Many thanks for a memorable visit.

Do not forget to put the keys back in the lock box!!!!

We loved this place, only a 5 minute walk to the lift and you can board all the way back home. House had everything we needed, coffee maker, crock pot, pots pans, BBQ etc... Im listing it because the owner just says to much to list which is quite lazy IMO I would like a list of what the house has just so I am prepared. We were not able to use the spa on 2 of our 4 nights because it was not hot, not sure why but I will not hold that against the owner. You may feel like you are being scolded by the owners repeated remarks about how its not a party pad and how you must immediately put the keys back in the lock box. It was the joke of our trip, we kept poking fun at each other asking if the keys were back in the lock box!!!! Im guessing the owner has had some not so respectful guests in the past and it shines through clear as day. At the end of the day it was a great place to stay at a great price.

Very spacious, lots of natural light, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of towels!

This place is my absolute favorite place to stay in Whistler. This trip was my second time staying in the Hicklin's Whistler home. This unit has a beautiful layout that feels much more spacious than other units I've stayed in that have comparable sleeping arrangements. It's rare to find a unit with a kitchen as well stocked as this one is with nice cutting knives, glassware, plates, bowls, coffee makers, a slow cooker, a grill, pots, pans, etc. There are also more than enough towels for use with showers and enjoying the hot tub. The hot tub is right outside the upstairs loft which is really convenient as compared to the other units in the building. Jane was incredibly helpful and responsive in answering my questions leading up to the trip. I will gladly be back!

Our family has loved skiing for years! We live in Calgary now but spent many years living in Switzerland skiing in Europe. Our favourite spot has always been Whistler so are happy that we are so close by to enjoy it.

The Benchlands area is by far the best location in Whistler. It is so close to everything that our car gets parked and never moves until we leave town. It is a short walk away from the hustle of the village but also nice and quiet for relaxing after a hard day on the slopes.

It is very spacious. Excellent ski-in and ski-out just across the street. Close to great restaurants and apres-ski. The free shuttle to the village is just outside the door.
