The only issues we had were some mold that needed cleaning around the clothes washer door gasket seal and the fact that the clothes dryer in the garage didn't seem to function on some settings. Otherwise the house was comfortable and well located with Nicola being a considerate host.

Neil and his family were lovely guests, and left the property clean and tidy. Communication could be improved their end, I had asked Neil to let me know that they had arrived safely and to let me know if they had any issues at all. I did not hear anything from them at all, nothing.. A little message to the host would be very much appreciated when you arrive and any little niggles could then be very easily rectified. They are welcome back anytime though, that was the only slight issue. Best wishes, Nicola

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Helen’s Bay. Communication with Nicola was very easy. She was always very helpful and responded quickly. The location of the house was perfect for us as we could either stay and walk along the seaside in Crawfordsburn Park, drive to other walks and sites nearby or take the train into Belfast. The rooms were comfortable. It was a bit cold in the lower part of the house, as it was particularly cold weather in January, but we were able to boost the heat for periods of time Parking was conveniently in the back of the building. There is a nice wine shop at the corner right next to the train station. One thing to note is that even though the train station is right behind the townhouse it was very quiet and not noticeable at all. We would stay again if we were in the area.

Helen's Bay is a beautiful, small village. It has a stunning beach and gorgeous coastal paths, within a 5 min walk of the property. My house is right beside the train station, you can be in Belfast City Centre within 15 mins - including the Titanic centre. It really is the perfect location.

My property is large and I have made it very comfortable. Great Beds, very quiet area, good kitchen & lounge area, everything that you need for a fabulous stay. So close to Belfast, just a short 15 mins by train or car and you're in the centre of Belfast, with all its fabulous restaurants, shops, cafes & markets and Titanic centre. Retreat back to the gorgeous coastal village of Helen's Bay, where the beautiful coast line will take your breath away, you will have the best of both worlds!
