The Crooked Cottage! 1 Bed, 1 Bath - Entire House
This ultra tiny home is an original 1920’s era house with lots of charm and a convenient location. The house is old and was built when people were a little smaller than we are today! If you`re 6` or taller, you may find the laundry and bathroom to require some overhead caution - otherwise the rest of the house is quite spacious. The home has a fenced front yard and partially-fenced back yard. It is a 5 minute walk to Canadian Tire, Save-On (with a Starbucks), London Drugs and local transit.
This quaint little home is entirely yours and has been remodelled to include one bedroom, living-room, a small dining area (for two), a bathroom with shower and a kitchen with cooktop. There is NO oven in this unit, but we do provide a countertop oven for basic baking and cooking. There is a two-in-one washer/dryer in the home for your use as well. They tend to take a little longer to cycle, but do a good job!
This home is suitable for a single person or couple. It is pet-friendly with approval from the hosts. We welcome weekly, monthly and extended stays! If you`re coming to study, work or visit in Lethbridge, this is a great option.
Guests have access to the entire home and yard.
Your hosts are nearby and available via chat or phone for any inquiries or urgent requests.
Located on a quiet residential street in Lethbridge’s Westminster neighbourhood, the house is walkable to Save-On, Canadian Tire, Dollarama and London Drugs. There are also some local independent businesses within a 10-15 minute walk including a Vietnamese restaurant and liquor store.
Parking is available on the street in front of the house (along 15th St N). There is also parking behind the house off the alley, however this is not well-lit or monitored. There is public transit located a short distance away along 2nd Ave N, as well as in the nearby commercial plaza.
It is important to note that, due to the age of this home, the rear addition has lower ceilings and may not be suitable for taller individuals (6’ or taller). This includes the laundry area and bathroom entrance. The main areas of the home, however, are suitable for all heights.
No outside guests who are not listed on the reservation are permitted on the premises. Should you want a guest to visit, please inform the host. Unauthorized guests may be asked to leave and your reservation may be cancelled.
