Finca del Sol- A New Mexican Farm Casa

Thank you for the honest feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed the location, the views, the art room, and the farm animals — those are things we're really proud of at Finca del Sol. To future guests: the cleanliness concerns described here are not the standard we hold ourselves to. The cleaner brought in for this stay was a last-minute hire and is no longer part of our team. We have since returned to our regular cleaning process and added additional quality checks between stays. The smoke detectors have been tested and replaced — this has been fully resolved. Regarding the stove and grill ignitors, we're addressing those and will include clear instructions in our guest guidebook, which is currently in development to make the property easier to navigate. The water at Finca del Sol comes from a well, which can have a mineral smell that's unfamiliar to some guests — it's safe and clean, and we'll note this more prominently in the listing. We take all of this seriously. Finca del Sol is a small family operation and every stay matters to us.
