Back Yard Paradise!

My sister, brother in law, husband and I enjoyed our stay so much! Beautiful and clean property, great communication with Noreen for arrival and departure. The backyard was just perfect, perfect size for the four of us and such a cute and fun set up. We could have just lived in the backyard if it wasn’t so hot lol. Thanks so much for a perfect relaxing getaway.

Lovely property, not far from everything, great pool and jacuzzi, the bar and BBQ were great to cook and eat at, lounge beds were very comfy. The owner was very quick to send a plumber when we had an issue with the toilet flush. Overall a fantastic property and would defiantly stay here again.

Wonderful experience!

Myself, my fiancĂ© and two of my best friends stayed here for weekend two of Coachella for a week. The hosts were communicative and available. The house rules were easy to understand and the check in process was seamless. The home was absolutely beautiful and we spent most of our time in the backyard enjoying the jacuzzi and pool :) (hands down what we were most excited about.) My only constructive feedback would be that there was a few strands of hair in the third bedroom shower and the towels in the master bedroom’s bathroom smelled a little like a cat. However, there was a very nice washing machine and cleaning products to assist with resolving those issues quickly. We will most certainly be staying here again if the property is available on our next trip!

Highly Recommended!

My husband, friends and I stayed at Michael’s home and were very satisfied with the property. Location is great, quiet neighborhood. The house pretty much has everything you need. The backyard patio is your own private oasis with the pool, barbecue, bar table, fireplace and outdoor cabana. Plenty of seating, too. Michael was very responsive to any needs that we had. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved it!

We absolute loved the backyard. It’s like an oasis, and it’s in a good location—near the airport and close to Indian Wells. I’ll recommend it to my friends and family. My only critical comment has to do with the sofas in the main living area. Since we spent most of our time on excursions, in the back yard, or at the kitchen table, it wasn’t a problem for us. The owner said he’s looking to buy replacements. :)

Wonderful Outdoor Oasis

We had a wonderful weekend at Michael's home. It was beautiful and had all of the amenities you could ask for! The outdoor space was very special and had something for everyone. A pool, hot tub, fireplace, outdoor kitchen, shaded TV area, you name it and it was there! The most unique part of the stay was the decor from all of Michael's travels. We loved the art and enjoyed looking at all of the different pieces from around the world! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed here for a week with 4 adults and 1 23-month old toddler and had an absolutely amazing time! The location was the perfect jumping-off point for exploring both Palm Desert and Palm Springs and we found plenty of family-friendly activities to keep us occupied. The highlight of the trip for me, however, was the time we spent in the beautiful backyard. The pool has a heated upper section, which was perfect for the cooler January weather. The cabana was wonderful for when the sun got too warm, and the grill was perfect for making food in the backyard. There's even a heater and a fireplace outside! The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, and just about anything you might need to make meals. I hope to stay here again in the future!

Oasis in the desert

This property was absolutely perfect for our family of four. We loved everything about the home, especially the backyard which was beautifully landscaped and had a pool, hot tub, tiki bar, fireplace and free standing heater. Michael was a terrific host! We will definitely be returning to this property when we visit Palm Springs again. Thank you for making our visit so comfortable and enjoyable.

Beautiful backyard!

Very nice house! Backyard has a small pool with a hot tub, BBQ area, tiki hut, outdoor fireplace and even an outdoor "TV room". Great communication with the host and it is very close to shops and restaurants in Palm Desert. Would come back for sure!

Need to a place to recharge?

This property is your answer. The house and the others in this small community have the charm you hoped you would find in Rancho Mirage! The landscape begins your starts your healing it is so calming. Open the door and you are wrapped in tranquility. There is such on open plan that thanks to the glass doors along the back of this house you are instantly drawn to the wonderful personal retreat that is the backyard. Thanks once again to some great landscaping you have a private resort that includes: SPA, Pool, large cabana, (with TV), fountain, complete outdoor kitchen, Tiki bar, dining area compete with a fireplace with gas logs, ample shaded sitting areas complete with misters and remember this is all outside! In side is a wonderfully equipped kitchen that allows you to be a part of everything indoors and out. The large master bedroom, with glass doors opening to your outside retreat, also has a sitting area plus an office, (is you must stay plugged in). There are two guest rooms and 3 bathrooms. The family room and inside dining area also have those great views of your outside oasis. The large TV is equipped for streaming and DVD player in the family room. The great dining and shopping that Rancho Mirage is known for are just minutes away. If you can’t tell we loved our stay at this property!

A little Paradise!

This is house was a perfect getaway for lounging by the pool, sitting under the cabana, soaking in the hot tub and relaxing evenings in. It has everything you will need from, a great kitchen for cooking, a large master suite and room for the teens to spread out and have their own rooms as well, a great living room for movie night, as well as all the outdoor space you will need! We even enjoyed the community pool for laps and more exercise in a full size pool across the street. It was conveniently located by all the shopping you could need from Trader Joes to the Mall and dining in of all types. Overall it was the a fabulous tranquil get away after a hectic stay in LA!

A true gem in the desert

Mike’s home is the best Vrbo rental home and experience I’ve had. Trust me when I tell you that we did not want to leave. The house is so well-appointed and beautiful- everything you need is at your fingertips. It’s located in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood, surrounded by beautiful gardens of fruit trees and cacti selection alike. The inner home doors open up to an amazing pool/jacuzzi area, where we spent most of our time. Believe me when I say that comfortability was thoughtfully carried out via an outdoor tv and cabaña, grill, tiki bar, and outside misters! Our stay in Rancho Mirage was truly magical and many wonderful memories were made there, from relaxing spa moments to family dinners around the home’s open-plan dining and kitchen area. Ever since we left, it’s all we talk about to our friends and family. We cannot wait to be back!

First time in Rancho Mirage

This trip to the desert was our first time staying in Rancho Mirage. Usually, we stay in La Quinta and have done so at least on six other occasions. However, we had several families staying at a nearby resort and wanted to be close to them to visit their property each day. The property was clean, and the owner was very proactive with communication. He did come and introduced himself on the first day. The wifi was reliable; the backyard had misters and a cabana that had an industrial overhead fan and a large tv that can swivel as you sit in the pool/tub. There were individual remote-controlled units for the rooms that did not have access to the central AC vents. The neighborhood is quiet and a throwback to mid-century modern homes. You are VERY close to shopping and entertainment. You are about a mile or so walk away from The River entertainment area. I probably would have got more out of the property during the spring or fall. The backyard lends itself to staying outside and enjoying conversation and the surroundings. There were minor things that, for me, are important but not deal breakers. It wasn't easy figuring out the lighting within the home. I prefer not to experiment or read instructions on how to turn on the lights. Also, the master bedroom bed was a mattress on a frame. The photo showed a bed with a headboard, and that was missing. The AC in the central area worked VERY well and fed one of the rooms. However, it was difficult for my daughter, who was staying in the guest room, to cool her room down. And it was too cold to stay in the central area. Again, first-world problems, not a deal-breaker but a good to know. My son stayed in a bedroom that was a converted sala with a pullout. That was nice. However, I could not find blankets for him to use for the bed. Fortunately, I did find sheets and the warm weather helped him maintain the right level of warmth. Overall, this is a lovely property. I did learn that each city has different requirements for the owner and occupant. So, though I did not have anything to worry about, I thought the city rules were a bit much compared to when I stay in La Quinta. Keep in mind that it is beyond the owner's control and has to do with the city of Rancho Mirage.
