Maison Traditionnelle 3 Chambres en Bord de Mer

Whitecaps est idéalement situé sur la belle plage de Mullins sur la cÎte ouest de la Barbade. Le chalet de plage traditionnel spacieux a un plan ouvert confortable avec une vue imprenable sur la mer des Caraïbes. Il y a une grande cour ouverte ombragée avec de beaux arbres matures - idéale pour les enfants et les lieux de rendez-vous en famille. Vous vous sentirez comme si vous avez reculé dans le temps, et sont sur votre propre tranche de paradis tropical.

Il y a 3 chambres spacieuses qui sont refroidies par des ventilateurs de plafond et A / C, et ont une salle de bains privative. Le salon et la salle Ă  manger dĂ©cloisonnĂ©s sont ornĂ©s de fer forgĂ© dĂ©coratif. Vous trouverez Ă©galement un bar assis avec un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur. La cuisine est entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e avec un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur, cuisiniĂšre / four, micro-ondes, grille-pain, cafetiĂšre, couverts, ustensiles de cuisine, etc. Pour que cela devienne une vĂ©ritable fĂȘte - il y a aussi un cuisinier amical qui peut prĂ©parer trois repas par jour pour vous, et une femme de mĂ©nage qui nettoie tous les jours et fait aussi la lessive.

Whitecaps offre à ses clients une maison de plage décontractée, confortable et détendue avec des touches à l'ancienne à quelques pas de l'océan.

Sun and surf in the Caribbean

Booking on line went well. The descriptor of the villa was spot on. The location on Mullins beach with access to the water was super. Adjacent very good eateries that were just a short walk away was wonderful. The house and rooms were great with air conditioning and fans for comfortable sleeps. The cook, gardener and housekeeper were wonderful (love that macaroni cheese dish). Needed to have upfront clarity about their frequency of services though. The chef dinner was awesome. Concierge delivered on all that was requested. Close to food stores by car (5-10 minutes). Safe neighborhood and pleasant locals. Lots to see and do on the island. Car rentals are very easy.

We really enjoyed the charming old house. The beachfront location is wonderful. The staff also deserve high praise; the two ladies prepared a fantastic breakfast for us every day. However, a drawback was that the garden was very limited in its use due to the large, poisonous manchineal trees. Although a warning sign indicates that the fruit is poisonous, there is no mention that even after rain, drops falling from the leaves can cause severe skin irritation. My husband had to be treated by a doctor for eye irritation caused by this. The provided tent offers only very limited shelter. We found it incomprehensible that only four sun loungers were provided for the house, which was rented for six people. Furthermore, after three weeks of island hopping, we were disappointed by the lack of a washing machine, which was mentioned in the description. The fantastic rainbow over the turquoise sea and the romantic sunsets were highlights, but unfortunately, these were beyond the owners' control.

We had a great stay at Whitecaps! We will definitely stay here again if we come back in the future. The house is beautiful with large bedrooms and bathrooms in each. The yard is spotless and very enjoying to relax and look out over the water. The beach is not like it looks in the pictures anymore but would not stop us from staying here again. Nature has made the beach much smaller but is still beautiful. You just have to go down a few more steps to beach level now. We loved our trip to Barbados and this house was a great base to explore from. There is a cook and a housekeeper. They were both very nice and welcoming. I would recommend reaching out to management and seeing about contact with the cook before you go to have an idea of what you would like her to cook ahead of time. She will cook anything for you. Grocery store is not far away and has an amazing selection. We look forward to our next stay at Whitecaps.

The house is in a great location. Several doors down from a popular tourist location, so the beach area is often busy with jet skis and chartered boats that dock close to the house. Great if your looking for a happening area, a little less desirable for privacy. Dennis the groundskeeper is amazing and keeps the outside garden area beautifully kept for enjoying the greenery and beach. The concierge, Julie is amazing and is extremely helpful with all needs. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent!

The house is run by two magnificent ladies Julie the chief concierge and Wendy the chief renting agent who are very professional. The house itself is dated needing desperately modern locks and a secure gate to the beach. The cook makes wonders in cooking butts expensive . cleaning service suzanna professional genUineand very-friendly. It is becoming my most favoured house choice on the island. It offers you an excellent home-base to enjoy the beauty of Barbados.

Fantastic house

This was a beautiful house on a fantastic beach. We loved the outdoor patio space overlooking the beach. The beach was perfect, quiet at the house, and busier further up the beach near the restaurants. The staff were all amazing. Some of our group went snorkeling with the turtles by the shipwreck and were picked up straight off the beach in front of the house. Others went and played golf. The location was perfect, everything in the house worked, and it was great to have staff who would come in and cook for us, great food by the way, and do our laundry for us. The yard was kept in amazing shape by the gardeners and there was security at night. I've been to quite a few islands in the Caribbean and Barbados has gone to the top of my list. What a great stay!

I am coming back. Wish can change the key system very challenging at times . Wendy the lady at point of rental is a charming trusting and very delightful lady I am fond of her.

Location location location

This was our second stay at this property and you can't beat the location of Whitecaps. The property is on a quiet end of Mullins Beach, steps away to the sea. It's an easy walk to the Sea Shed, Andrians Corner, and the Rubis for any basics needs, and not too far from Speightstown which has great some great restaurants (our fave is The Caboose and Baia). The house could use a bit of updating but again the location is amazing. The kitchen is well appointed with all the things one would need. Do make sure to pack books, cards, and games as this house did not have those things.Whaples is the most amazing cook, honestly her meals beat most of the meals we had dining out. Her Mac Pie is the best I've ever had in the 10 years we've been coming to Barbados.We had a few issues while staying but Bluesky was quick to respond and assist. I do hope the wobbly furniture on the patio was either fixed or removed as it was not stable when we stayed and it caused an injury.Overall we had a great stay.

Wonderful Time at Whitecaps

This property is so magical. You hear the waves every night, have a beautiful garden area of your own, and an open air living area to enjoy the quiet evenings. The check in and out process was so simple. The house is cleaned daily, and we were able to have the house supplied with some provisions before we arrived. Visitors can arrange to ride on a glass bottom boat, water ski, ride jet skis, and do pretty much any other water sport from the beach right in front of the villa. Each of the three bedrooms has an en suite which was very convenient for traveling with teens. We were able to quickly prepare ourselves to visit botanical gardens, Harrison's Cave, and Bridgetown. All of which were easy routes from the villa. We were sad to leave and can't wait to come back to Whitecaps and the sea.

Whitecaps is a well-situated, family friendly cottage. Mabel and Suzette were fantastic and took care of us the entire time. Mabel is an excellent cook, she asked us what our preferences were but we were happy to have her make her Bajan specialties! The fresh fish is not to be missed. One note about this property is that it is relatively close to the road, so the two bedrooms that are closest to the road do get a fair amount of road noise. So if you have light sleepers in your group, it may be worth finding a different house with BSL. But I can't speak highly enough of the BSL service - they made everything so easy, from arranging the covid protocols, to pre-stocking the house with food, hiring a nanny, hiring a car, all of it! Highly recommend renting from them and we look forward to doing it again.

What an absolutely perfect holiday my family and I had. I would strongly urge whoever reads this to go ahead and book. Being located on a quiet beach with two fantastic bars on it, we had a great time. If you chose you can have three meals a day prepared for you, by a lovely lady that has worked at the property for over 25 years. If not there are many great bars and restaurants within a short drive and in some cases a short walk. There's a security guard at night as well as a cleaner there in the day. The house is lovely, it's got a very authentic feel about it. It could do with a little bit of TLC however the location of the property makes up for it. My only complaint would be that the Wi-Fi was unusable, so if you're planning on working on your holiday then the beach bar next door has good internet or alternatively purchase a good mobile data plan.

Beautiful House and Best Location

This house was perfect. The location was the best on the island. Private and right on the beach. The chef Whipple and the house keeper Suzette made our stay. They were perfect and we felt grateful to have them. They are included. The only complaint would be the communication from the upper management and web site details. All management had to do is send out 1 well detailed email listing how the groceries and food process worked. Make sure you contact the management and get a complete explanation before you arrive. Massey's grocery will deliver groceries for your arrival. You can order these on line. Once you are there Whipple will help explain how the meals work and what is needed. The website listed that there is a washer and dryer. This is not exactly true. There is laundry services that the house keeper is happy to do for you daily but you personally do not have access to the washer and dryer when the housekeeper is gone. This would have been good to know before we got there. Sometimes it is nice to be able to dry wet clothes and do personal items yourself. Again, the house was perfect the issues were upper management communication. The house manager on site, the chef and the housekeeper were awesome! Sea Shed had great food but you need a reservation. CC's has a nice lunch fish sandwich. Bombas...don't get the rum punch. The view at Animal Flower Cave restaurant and Zemi restaurant at Bathsheba were stunning. Reservations are needed. Enjoy!

We just spent a week at Whitecaps with our group of 6 and had the BEST time! Yes..the property is on the older side BUT
it’s VERY clean, VERY spacious and the pictures really don’t do it justice. It’s in the most perfect location and you can hear the ocean always. The open-air family room makes it feel like you are always outside right on the beach (the pics of this especially don’t do it justice! Trust me!) And then there is the chef! Whaple is AMAZING. We have never had eggs like hers! And her zucchini boats

even our picky teen said she was obsessed. I’m not a big fish eater like some of the other adults in our party but I have never had snapper (prepared two ways) like what Whaple cooked for us. Her pumpkin fritterstoo
I could go on about her cooking. Also the yard/garden by the beach is a dream. Again, the pictures don’t do it justice. If you aren’t a “resort” person (we are not as we like to get a little taste of the local culture when we travel abroad)..this is your place. It’s not “posh” in a resort or even condo way
but it’s truly beautiful and frankly MUCH better. Thank you for a perfect week

Old World Charm

Location, location, location! This beachside cottage has all the charm and funkiness you could want if you like to live "local" and is situated right on the surf, with a large, glorious shady garden. Inside, Whitecaps has old time character and history. Spacious and comfortable, the rooms are cool and dark for a good nights sleep. The bathrooms are spotlessly clean, though definitely from another era. The veranda is enclosed with rather grim dark wrought iron bars (they could use a drop of paint), so you sit right amongst the lush tropical foliage. Lovely birds come in and are quite at home sitting beside you on the furniture. Listen to the waves crashing and the frogs whistling while you go back in time and enjoy this unique escape. Just a few hundred feet away, some older houses like this one have fallen victim to development and become restaurants. They have made Mullins Beach very lively; a nice contrast to the dreamy, charming Whitecaps retreat. Very handy to get take-aways! Let's hope this old homestead does not suffer the same fate, as we are sure to want to go back. Blue Skies do a most professional job of maintaining the property! Gardener, housekeeper and cook were all delightful.
