Bitty Bunky is part of our Morning Star & Bunkieland glamping setup, created for guests who love unique places, simple comforts, and time close to nature. This sweet little forest hideaway is best suited for one adult, or possibly one adult with a child. Because of its compact size, we do not recommend it for two adults unless you are both very comfortable in a tiny, cozy space.

Inside, Bitty Bunky is small, charming, and thoughtfully put together with a cozy bed, soft bedding, warm wood details, and just enough space to settle in for a peaceful night in the Kootenays. It is a lovely choice for solo travellers, writers, nature lovers, and anyone craving a quiet little escape that feels a bit magical.

Guests have access to our shared Bunkieland amenities, including the kitchen bunkie, shared washrooms, outdoor sink, seating areas, central fire pit, sauna, and outdoor clawfoot tub for a refreshing cold plunge. You are also welcome to wander down to the forest area below the property, where you’ll find a hammock tucked among the trees — a beautiful little spot to slow down, breathe in the fresh Kootenay air, and listen to the quiet.

Located just outside Nelson, BC, Bitty Bunky makes a sweet home base for exploring Baker Street, local cafés, restaurants, galleries, Kootenay Lake, hiking trails, biking routes, and the natural beauty of the West Kootenays.

This is glamping, not a hotel stay. Expect a rustic, peaceful, nature-based experience with shared facilities, fresh air, starry nights, and a little bit of fairytale charm.
