Overall, we had a good stay, and the location was convenient for exploring Estes Park. The host was responsive, friendly, and communicated well throughout our trip, which we really appreciated.We knew going into our stay that the home was older, so we weren't expecting it to be perfect. However, the overall cleanliness could have been better upon arrival.The biggest challenge was the heat. We happened to visit during an unusually warm week in Estes Park, and the house became extremely hot with very little airflow. It was difficult to spend much time inside during the afternoons, and using the oven or dryer made the temperature even more uncomfortable. Better window coverings on some of the windows would likely help keep the house cooler during the day.We also felt the front outdoor seating area could be improved, as there wasn't enough seating for our group to comfortably gather outside.With a few updates, particularly addressing the heat, improving the cleanliness, and adding more outdoor seating, this property could provide a much more comfortable experience. We appreciated the host's communication and the location, but these are important things future guests should be aware of, especially if visiting during a warmer time of year. We had to waste a lot of our meals and go out to eat, because the temperature of the house was unbearable and outside was cooler.
